The January Meeting of the Raleigh Association of Insurance Professionals will be held on Tuesday, January 12th at the IIANC Office, 101 Weston Oaks Court, Cary. Social time is at 5:30 and meeting begins at 6:00. We have a special program planned from Special Agent Matt Bivins who is with the NCSBI and is bringing Kaufman, his 7 yr old black lab who is his K-9 assistant Arson Dog. This should be a very interesting program on arson investigations. Matt is also a former professional fire fighter for 16 years in Burlington. He is one of 6 Accelerant Detection canine handlers for the SBI. Come and enjoy fellowship and a great meeting. Hope to see you there and bring a guest!

PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Hi MembersWe officially made it through another holiday season, another year, and another decade! I hope, pray, and really think that this year will be better for all of us. I am personally excited to see what this new year and decade is going to bring for us as individuals, as an industry, and as an association. I hope you will join in with me and personally reflect on the things that you want to do differently, want to do better, or want to learn in the upcoming year. If one of our lights shine just a little brighter then it brightens the whole room, so please come to our monthly meetings and share your experience and knowledge with other members, share your successes, get support and advice in your failures/mistakes, and let us all grow through the experiences of each other. Hope to see all of you on Tuesday for a great program Katy has set up for us- with a very special guest with a nose for fire that any property underwriter would envy! Let's start the decade off right with all our members present and lots of guests! Respectfully, Kelly Bryant, CISR President

Raleigh Association of Insurance Professionals can help employers find valuable employees and help those seeking employment opportunities find those employers! We would encourage our members to pass my contact information along to their employers and HR Managers so that they can notify me when a position opens up. We need our members to help promote the use of our service for connecting employees & employers. I would be happy to send a request directly to their employers if they can provide me with the contact name and email address. These are tough times for everyone so we need everyone at RAIP to do what we can to bring people together.
