The Wonder of It All..
I have heard and seen several interesting things this week from friends and coworkers. One said that her elderly neighbour told her that it was going to storm soon as she had seen a certain bird, whos name escaped her at the time she was telling me the story, stock piling things to its nest. And as you know, it did indeed storm. When talking to another friend on Saturday she shared with me that she was witnessing something she had never seen before. About a 100 robins were congregated in her neighbours yard all hopping about. (Probably to keep warm!) But the sheer number of them together was something she had never experienced before. And I observed our neighbours dog sticking her head out of her dog house on Saturday and looking around in dismay as if to say, What happened to Spring? when only a few days earlier, she had been looking for some shade and a cool drink of water. It made me wonder. What do people see when they observe me and what I am doing? Am I aware and preparing for whats ahead? Do I flock to other believers when things are tough? Or am I sticking my head out of the house and wondering what in the world is going on? Made me think. What about you?

Associate Missions - Asia

Tiffany Barkman Tiffany lives in Southeast Asia, building up skills she will need for Bible translation. At the moment, that translates into all kinds of difficult and /or rewarding attempts at communicating. Recently, for example, a security guard at her friends apartment listened patiently as she tried to explain that her friend was home but didnt have her phone on her, and so couldnt let her in. She doesnt know if the security guard understood a work, but after he had listened to her story he kindly escorted her to the third floor. Pray that Tiffany will look to Jesus daily, growing closer to him and depending more fully on him.
