    Homestead Manor 4683 Columbia Pike There was a skirmish here as troops made their way north to the Battle of Franklin.

    Oaklawn Plantation 3331 Denning Lane Nov. 29, 1864: Confederate Gen. John Bell Hood slept while Union forces slipped by, marching north on their way to the Battle of Franklin.
