DTU, with the brand image of D E and its glorious past, thus is poised to create new horizons in the arena of technical C education and research in the country. The institute is well known in and outside India and has earned itself a place of pride amongst the TOP-TEN ENGINEERING INSTITUTIONSof the country. Its Alumni has served almost all sectors of business, industry, the corporate world, academia, defence services and civil services, with high dedication and result oriented performance. DTU enjoys a cordial and professional relationship with your esteemed organization by way of mutually beneficial professional contributions. From the very beginning, DCE, now DTU lays greater emphasis on in situ industrial training. Practical Training for B.E. students is an integral part of the curriculum and is in-built into the programs of study. Accordingly, the students have to undergo the following training programs :
8 weeks (June I* - July 31*) during Summer Vacations, after sixth semester, for all branches of engineering. 8 weeks (Mid December - Mid February) during Winter Vacations, after seventh semester, for all branches of engineering. 4 weeks (First Week of December to First Week of January) during Winter Vacations, after fifth semester, for the branch of InformationTechnology.
