Donate to Adopt-A-Family!
We Need Your Help...
We have located families in Chino Hills that are unable to provide food, clothing, and toys for their families this Christmas. We are asking families, local businesses, and community groups to adopt one or more of these families to provide them with the items they need so they may have a happy holiday season. If you are unable to adopt a family, but would like to donate a gift card to be used to purchase gifts for a family, you may complete a form online or the form below and mail or drop off the gift card at City of Chino Hills, Attn: Adopt-A-Family, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709.
How It Works...
You may choose to adopt a small, medium, or large-sized family. You will receive the familys wish list for Christmas no earlier than Friday, November 5, after all interviews have been conducted. To ensure equality among all adopted families, a minimum of four items and up to a maximum of six items per child will be accepted. An equal ratio between clothes and other items is requested (i.e. Six total items are purchased, three of which are clothing and the remaining three items are toys).
Important Tips...
Please be sure when you purchase items on the wish list that the childrens gifts are your priority. You are welcome to purchase gifts for the parents as well. Clothing is always a priority, as many of the families do not have proper shoes, socks, jackets, etc. for the winter months. We ask that you purchase new clothing and toys only. No used donations will be accepted. If you would like to donate food for the families, please purchase a gift card to a local grocery store. Canned goods and other food items are not permitted.
Contact Information...
All forms must be submitted by December 4. If you have additional questions, please call Lyna Thoeun at (909) 364-2704. You may also fax the form to (909) 364-2735.
