COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The presentation and interpretation of biochemical concepts in the lecture course, is i-n constant reference to the cell, giving th students in the paramedi-cal fields, brief glimpses of tfre structure and function of the biomolecufes composing the cell. The emphasis is on the ciinical implications from the Concepts presented, So designed aS to enable the students to understand and help them appreciate their values i1 expJ-aining thej-r everyday life experiences. Furthermore, a close rel ationsni-p of lhe principles of biochemistry to
