Ladies and Gentleman girls and boys of this great country Tanzania, today I am here to talk to you about something really important which is going on around us and with in the earth. Global warming. Let me talk a bit about what is global warming many people have the idea that it is the earth temperature rising and volcanoes erupting. Well in some way that is true but what global warming really is it's the waste of the raw materials or anything that we use for example: the smoke that comes out from a cars exhauster or the smoke that comes from the factories, the weapons also produce big waste for example the gases in grenades and bullets pollute the nature. So all these things make the earth temperature raise and that can cause many problems for us humans and all that waste that is produced contains very dangerous gases and the most dangerous one is Carbon dioxide. As every one of you knows that carbon dioxide can be absorbed by trees, and then the trees will produce oxygen which helps us breathe and live normally, but unfortunately in this last century us people have been destroying all of the nature through the wars we had and the times we used trees as fossil fuels which produce energy for us. The main problem we are in right now is the addiction to use of fossil fuels all of us always need fuel to work our cars, electricity and many other things. But we always forget that the use of these fossil fuels. So I ask every one of you to try doing something good for this planet and help us live longer, If every one in the world tries to use less fossil fuel we would live a healthier and better life. Wouldn't you want this great life. There are so many ways to avoid using a lot of fossil fuel for example: every one should try using more public transportation so the same amount of fossil fuel is used to transport a bigger number of people for example every one in the neighborhood can transport kids to school in his car and the other day another neighbor does that. We also have to try to study more in developing the use of energies such as solar energy and wind energy. If we try doing all of these ideas the world would be much more cleaner and people would live better and in this way many we would save so many people from getting sick like what is going on in Africa the percent of people which are sick from pollution in air is 14%. We would also reduce many other countries problems for example: We learned just last week that Greenland is now losing 20% more mass than it receives from new snowfall each year. And it will shrink

further as the planet warms. Extreme weather patterns have emerged heat waves, droughts, hurricanes, floods and they are occurring with greater frequency and greater intensity. In 2003, heat waves caused 20,000 deaths in Europe and 1,500 deaths in India. All of these terrible accidenct are caused by us and our laziness in caring about our earth. All of these gases and pollution causes many disasters for example the hurricanes, tornadoes are all caused by global warming and in these last 10 years the number of volcano eruptions has increased by a large number. There is another thing I wanted to mention the worst fossil fuel which causes a bog part of global warming is coal. Globally, coal produces 9.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide every year. That is a big number and that cause many other troubles it doesn't only affect air pollution it also affects water pollution because all the clouds form a big cloud together and rain on the water, so all the dangerous gases are transformed or condensed into a liquid form. The good news is that there are people working on helping stop the global warming. In the last 15 years there has been many newly founded global warming organization such as Greening Earth Society

The Greening Earth Society (GES) was founded on Earth Day 1998 by the Western Fuels Association to promote the view that increasing levels of atmospheric CO2 are good for humanity. GES and Western Fuels are essentially the same organization. Both used to be located at the same office suite in Arlington, VA. Until December 2000, The Western Fuels Assocation (WFA) is a cooperative of coal-dependent utilities in the western states that works in part to discredit climate change science and to prevent regulations that might damage coal-related industries. So all of these organization try helping stop global warming and that's what we have to do too.

So I ask my people to try and do all the things I have talked about because by that you will save a new generation of your children and grand children and you will also help protect your earth on which you have been born and the earth which you ate and grew on. So

for the sake of Earth and your children try helping us stop this terrible disaster global warming and lets try keep the earth clean.
