Ministry Calendar
Please be in prayer for these upcoming events! We need you! And we need wisdom in where to focus our energies this summer.

Here. Now.
Here is the only place I can love Him. Ann Voskamp Were here! And were so grateful for how youve carried us to Kampala by your gifts and prayers! Our first month has been full of unpacking, grocery shopping, setting up house, learning how to drive, meeting people, navigating parenthood in the midst of transition, trying new foods, figuring out how to cook old favorites with new ingredients, and snapping lots of photos! The temptation is to believe the devils lie-- that the real ministry doesnt begin until it has a title and a job description (by the way, please be in prayer about Joshs job description at Heritage). But the truth is that all of life should simply be overflow-- that as we receive grace and love from Him, we extend grace and love to everyone we meet. We dont have to wait until school is in session in August to begin ministry. And you dont have to move to Uganda to do missions! Our challenge for you this week is to be much with Him. Carve out an extra 10 minutes praying and receiving what He has for you, and then share that love and grace with someone each day for a week. We will be praying for you as you reach out to your family, neighbors, and co-workers. Will you pray for us as well? Check out our blog for more stories of life, and ministry! www.thehallahans.blogspot.com Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful And

Prayer Requests
That God would continue to soften the hearts of the students at Heritage, and give them a hunger for Himself. And that God would prepare the way for us to impact this school for Christ. For United Faith Chapel at the university as they are in the midst of leadership transition. For safety and health as we drive around Kampala. That Satan would be allowed no footholds in our lives and ministry! That God would use our relationship with Gloria to further His kingdom.

Watch Us Grow
God has been growing our faith and dependence on prayer as we crossed an ocean and a continent with four adults, four children, and 35 pieces of luggage! He has been meeting us as we drive in ridiculous traffic, recover from jetlag, and establish our home. The boys have done really well in this transition. They are sleeping ok, trying some new foods, and getting used to having Gloria in our home every day. Please keep praying for grace as we parent in this new season and the novelty wears off soon.

So far they really love living on a mountain, having lizards in our house, palm trees in our yard, and our spiral staircase!
