Charity, Unity, Fraternity, Patriotism "The time to show up fully for life is right now, whatever the circumstances. The decision to be the divine attracts the divine. Life is a swirling pool of infinite potential at every single moment, and we ourselves either activate or refuse to activate the mystical fertility of the universe." Marianne Williamson, from Everyday Grace Be all you can be for Jesus the Christ! Work to assist our ministries who bring support and assistance to our neighbors: St. Edwards Christian Service and St. Vincent de Paul, Welcome INN, and iHOPE! SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL The universally recognized Saint of Charity, Vincent de Paul, lived a rich and complex life. Intensely devoted to Jesus, especially Jesus suffering in the poor. Vincent's way of reading the gospel has special resonance for today. Throughout his long life, he managed to bring together prayer and action. Although some mystery shrouds his younger years, he conducted his priestly life in full view through great activities that continue today. His two religious families (the Congregation of the Mission, or Vincentians; and the Daughters of Charity) plus the world wide Society of St. Vincent de Paul still look to him for guidance today. MIRACLE OF ULTRASOUND Ultrasound is one of the most powerful tools pro-lifers have to change a womans mind about abortion and help her embrace the sanctity of life, according to former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson. She said that women who see the ultrasound of their baby connect with a powerful maternal bond. They see that it is a baby and that it does have a heartbeat, she explained. Just seeing the heartbeat is very powerful to a woman.
