--Premiered at the IV Festival Empape - International Festival of Dance in Urban Landscapes - July 1st 2011, A Corua, Spain. Second presentation of the process at the XII edicin de Encuentros Danza Mlaga, Ronda, Octubre 25th 2011.

Dale Vida, to give life - yet another philosophy that should be nurtured daily. For me, this creation is not just a show for the stage, its a way of living. I wish to grow it, I wish to live by it. As a performance it is growing with the support of each inviting festival or event... and it wants to get bigger! So, if you are reading this, please consider to Join us! SHORT SYNOPSIS: Happy with where I am, and eager for more - this could be a summarizing motto for this piece. But in order to be more specific, I could say Its about remembering. Its a kind of a reencounter, a reunion with myself. Each time I face a new creation, new voices in me wish to express themselves. Voices that wish to remind me of who I really am. This time I remembered that who I really am is a, playful, powerful, loving, happy with where I am and eager for more - creator of realities. I remembered that I just want to have fun! Come to think of it - we're all from that same kind. No? In "Give Life" (Dale Vida) these voices appear. They ask me the questions, they give me instructions, they show me directions, revealing me new ways and helping me in this struggle of finding meaningful living. Acting as a motivating force during the piece and for the piece. These voices bring life in me and together we put life in the place we show

up. I will also hope that the same will go to you, dear audience.

My initial tools were: My words, my music, my movements, flowers and bullets. Now lets see what else will join this ride. Giving life - it's vital. It's needed."

Shlomi Bitton. This piece exposes the latest fruits of a constant search for a personal way of creating a theatrical mix between text, voice, music, gestures, emotions and such... all leaning on a unique style of choreography and movement... and emphasizing the urgency of having all elements created by the same author. This combination also attempts to create a show which is closer and more communicative with the audience, where you meet an interpreter that is spontaneous and still leads the public through a story.

SHORT CV:
Shlomi Bitton, interdisciplinary creator and performer (dance-theater, music), born and raised in Israel, resident in Madrid since 2009. Known for his particular creative style, created and performed so far between Israel, Czech Republic, Poland, France, Croatia, Austria, Germany, USA, Spain, Holland, Italy and Japan. Nowadays (2012) developing new projects in Spain and Sweden. Throughout his career won several national and international awards such as: Second prize in the National Contest of Choreography in Madrid with "Celebrate if You Can" - 2008. (as well as the temporary artistic residency at the University of Alcal de Henares, Spain). Second prize - in the duets category at the International Choreography Competition Burgos-New York with "Affected by the Sun" - Burgos, Spain 2008. Third Prize (Jury selection) and Audience Prize for best Solo in the International Solo competition 10Masdanza, Grand Canaria, Spain 2005...

Both First Prize and Critics Prize at the 18th International Choreographic Competition Ballettgesellschaft Hannover, with "No Hands" - Germany 2004. With "Three Dots & Question Mark" - First Prize - Shades of Dance Festival, Suzanne Dellal Center, Tel Aviv, Israel 2001... and, First Prize in the Hasia Levi-Agron Choreography Competition, Jerusalem, Israel 2001. Ministry Award for Young Artists, awarded by the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports of Israel. 2004. Ministry Award for First Creation, awarded by the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports of Israel. 2002. 2004 - Creation Grant - by the Rolex Mentor and Protg Arts Initiative (Switzerland), as one of 4 finalists for the 2003-2005 cycle. 2006 - Creation Grant - by the Aleko International Choreography Competition, Aomori museum of arts, Japan. With his 'You are the creator' >> workshops/classes, he has been a guest teacher at institutions such as the Superior Conservatory of Dance (Maria Avilla) and at the RESAD, in Madrid, at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona as well as in other private studios, festivals and events.
