TANK FARM SYSTEM


Hydrocarbon Vessel
1. Hydrocarbon vessel, 250#wp as follows: A. Hydrocarbon vessel Ex Works manufacturer, 250#wp designed for use with HAPs, DME, CFC and other propellants that fall within the pressure rating and temperature range. B. Crane service for removing the vessel from the truck and setting the vessel directly onto piers is required. C. GSI can furnish supervision for setting and leveling vessel for a charge. D. Set of tank prints for approval by authorities (10 copies) can be furnished for a charge. E. The vessel will come from the factory with an undercoating, but a finished coat of white paint on the vessel should be applied after the installation of tank, valves and piping. 2. Piers Furnish one (1) set of piers for the vessel as follows: A. Piers to support a 250# wp vessel filled to 100% of product that does not exceed 8#'s/gal weight, on soil that can support 2500#'s/sq. ft soil bearing guaranteed by others. Steel reinforced 2500# concrete using 12" wide riser, minimum of 15" thick footers. B. Additional footers and a gravel base to compensate for 1300#'s/sq. ft soil bearing can be designed if the 2500#'s/square foot cannot be acheived, but can support weights no less than 1300#'s/square foot. This would required an additional charge over the standard set of piers.

C. Pier Prints (10 copies) for obtaining approval from governing authorities can be supplied for an additional charge. D. Supervisory labor for installation of piers can be supplied by GSI for a charge. E. Protective materials to be installed between any tank surface where it may come in contact with the concrete supports and to be installed at the time the tank is set on piers. 3. Tank Fittings. One (1) set of tank fittings are required as follows: A. Float gauge in percentage to be mounted in the end of the vessel. B. Fisher G102 2" Back check Valve installed in the liquid loading opening. C. Fisher C427-10 1 1/4" Internal Valve installed in the vapor return opening. D. 1-Fisher H285-250 Internal Relief Valves in the 2" openings on top of the vessels. E. Fisher J701 Thermometer & Fisher J516 - 300# Pressure Gauge w/3" face. F. Grounding strap and grounding rod. G. Fisher N310-10 1 1/4" Globe Valve for by-pass return from pump assembly. H. Fisher G102 1 1/4" Back check Valve in pump by-pass line. I. Fisher C427-16 2" Internal Valve with a Fisher P326-2 Pneumatic unit for pump. J. Fisher N310-16 Valve for liquid tank filling. K. 3" stacks, rain caps and break-away couplings for the relief valves.

L. Cost for the Supervision of installation of the tank fittings can be supplied by GSI. M. Extra cost for supplying the above fittings and valves with calres or teflon where required in order to contain the product DME. N. Fitting Prints (10 copies) for obtaining approval from governing authorities can be supplied by GSI. 4. Pump Assembly Furnish and install a Corken F14 pump assembly for supplying the propellant equipment as follows: A. Corken F14-28 gpm pump. B. Corken B-166 1" by-pass valve. C. Fisher 98H Relief Valve for maintaining pressure to fill line. D. 2" strainer to pump. E. Vibration reducing motor to pump coupler. F. Steel base plate for mounting on concrete pad. G. Valves, back checks, relief valves, piping, pipe fittings and gauge in pump assembly designed for aerosol propellant filling system. H. Cost for the installation of unit on a concrete pad should be added to price of the installation. I. For each pump being used for DME service, an added charge for special trim in the valving and pump is required. J. GSI can supply supervision of the installation if necessary for a charge. K. Pump prints (10 copies) for approval from governing authorities can be supplied by GSI for a charge. 5. Prefabed Steel Bulkhead.

Furnish prefabricated steel bulkhead that will allow for remote filling of the hydrocarbon vessel/s. A. Six (6) 2" liquid fill line openings. B. Six (6) - 1 1/4" vapor return line openings. C. One (1) - 25 grounding cable with clamp. D. Supervision to properly install unloading facilities can be supplied by GSI for a charge. E. Unloading dock Prints (10 copies) for approval from governing authorities can be supplied by GSI for a charge. 6. Bulkhead fittings. Furnish valves for bulkhead that will allow for remote filling the hydrocarbon vessel. A. 2" liquid fill line will be supplied with 3 1/4" acme adapter with cap to attach to transport hose, 2" back check valve, 2" globe valve, nipples, union, flexible connector, and hydrostatic relief valves. B. 1 1/4" vapor return line will be supplied with 2 1/4" acme adapter and cap to attach to transport hose, Fisher N-550-10 Emergency Safety Valve (ESV) with remote shutoff capabilities, 1 1/4" shut off valve, nipples, union flexible connector and hydrostatic relief valves. C. For each set of fittings that will be used to unload DME into a vessel, an additional charge is necessary for the special trim in the valves. 7. Piping for tank farm. A1. 2" x 50' sch 80 pipe from liquid fill opening in tank #1 to bulkhead. B1. 1 1/4" x 50' sch 80 pipe from vapor return opening in tank #1 to bulkhead. C1. 2" x 10' sch 80 pipe from pump opening tank #1 to pump assembly #1.

D1. 1" x 20' sch 80 pipe from pump assembly return to tank #1. E1. 1 1/4" x 100' sch 80 pipe from pump assembly #1 to enable valve and filter assembly #1 outside of gas house. F1. 1" x 25' sch 80 pipe from enable valve and filter assembly #1 to gassing table inside of gas house. G. Pipe supports for above ground piping 2 feet above grade and to be supported no less than every eight (8) feet. H. Supervision for the above work can be supplied by GSI for a charge. I. Piping Prints (10 copies) for approval from governing authorities can be supplied by GSI for a charge. 8. Pipe tressle. Pipe tressle, cross members and pipe supports to span 50' driveway that will support 275#'s per lineal foot of supply lines, electrical conduits and pneumatic piping every 5 feet for the seven vessel tank farm. A. Pipe tressle, cross members and pipe supports, FOB factory can be supplied by GSI. B. Steel I-beam supports and hardware to allow 14'6" clearance from ground to the bottom of the tressle and stabilizer supports to curtail movement of tressle. C. Two (2) concrete supports 60" wide, 90" long and 72" deep to support the above steel I-beams and tressle are required. D. Crane for unloading tressle from truck and place directly onto I-beam supports should be considered in expensing out the project. E. Supervisory labor for the above can be supplied by GSI for an additional charge.

F. Freight for tressle from factory to Principals location. G. Prints for approval of tressle, I-beams supports and concrete foundations can be supplied by GSI for a charge. 9. Enable Valve & Micron Filter Assembly. Furnish 1 1/4" enable valve and micro filter assemblies for the liquid hydrocarbon. This unit is installed outside of the gas house and is supplied with the necessary manual valving to isolate the filter for servicing. The bleed off valves can also supply the maintenance crew with the ability to bleed the hydrocarbon lines inside the gas house in a safe manner. 1. Cost of the above assembly along with the interlocking components to be controlled by the panels in the gas house. 2. For each enable valve & micron filter assembly that will be used in DME service, add for special trim in the valving. 10. Fencing Furnish fencing for around gas house & tank farm should be considered in the cost of the tank farm installation. 1. Prints for approval and construction of fencing for approval by authorities can be supplied by GSI for a charge.

PLANS AND SUBMITTALS Prints

Submit for approvals twelve (12) - sets of blue prints for the tank farm installation. Cost of the above tank farm is cost out in each of the relating sections. Any additional prints that may be required will be cost per sheet (12 copies per sheet).

(12 copies) H. Prints for compressor station for unloading rail and transport vessels into the storage vessels. (12 copies) I. Prints for metering station for blending propellant liquids. (12 copies) J. Prints for security guard rails & fencing. (12 copies) L. Prints for piping and pipe fitting with proper safety components. (12 copies) M. Prints for Gas house concrete slab. (12 copies) N. Prints for Gas house piping details for hydrocarbon manifold assembly with safety valving requirements. (12 copies) O. Prints for Gas house safety devises and general construction. (12 copies) P. Prints for Gas air flow and duct work. (12 copies) Q. Prints for pipe rack and tressle for aboveground piping. (12 copies) R. Prints for concrete piers for storage vessels. (12 copies) S. Prints for concrete pads for tressles, rail, pumps, compressors and unloading stations. (12 copies) T. Prints for water cannon sprinkler system. (12 copies)

U. Prints for electrical requirements for gas house, Control Panels, pump and compressor assemblies. (12 copies) V. PNID schematic for liquid and vapor flow, gauging, safety valves, tank fittings and etc. (12 copies) W. Pneumatic schematic for air operated components and controls. (12 copies)

Submittal
If the Principal requests Gunderson Systems International's representative to acquire the approvals from the Local, State, Federal and insurance carriers, the cost of this is as follows: Per dime cost of representative, room and board. Travel to Principal's location and for travel if required to obtain approvals out of the city that the installation is in. For vehicle if car transportation is used. Code A - cost of plane fare and rental vehicle if out of the state travel is required. Two Prints (12 copies each) for submitting for approval by the governing authorities.
