MELTDOWN

The stage is all dark: and slowing the lights come on. Enter sun as it rises in east (Start with MUSIC Track 1 - SUN rise) light YELLOW (rising sun) Sun: (as he walks in and around, touches all the elements which start moving around).. Wake up .. arise the world is ready for another day. This beautiful creation Earth is waiting to be blessed. I bring life to this planet. I bring joy and happiness. Its my heat that is important for the survival of living organisms. I feel good. Let the day begin! (The back ground music fades and moves to track 2 EARTH element) Light GREEN EARTH: I am the most wonderful planet in this solar system. I hold the key to universe and life. I hold the riches of metals, the beauty of water, the gentle wind and ofcourse, I help sustain life. From a minute living organism to Mankind all depend on me. I love this treasure and I am looking forward to this new day. (The back ground music fades and moves to track 3 FIRE Element)- Light - RED FIRE: Ah dont be afraid I may glow, I may burn. But I can heal and I can destroy. Without me, you would not survive. I protect you from attack and I can also help you live, cook and destroy. Use me wisely and you will enjoy. But cross with me and you will bear the wrath of flames! Come lets enjoy the day. (The background music fades and moves to track 4 AIR Element) - light faded yellow AIR - .. you cant see me yet you can feel me. And dont be afraid of FIRE I can blow it away. I can carry you along with my force and make you feel happy with my gentle swirl.. I bring joy to your face. Living organisms love me for I help them grow and mankind has benefited from my presence. I bring the world to life. Let me join the other elements in harmony. (the background music faces and moves to Track 5 WATER Element) light - BLUE WATER: (laughing..) I am a damsel who can go anywhere. I cant stay still in one place. Mother earth carries me on her shoulders, the mountain try to hold me down their slopes but I am slippery and wet. I help bring rain but the water comes back to for it is myself that I join with.. Without me, the life would not have been complete. Come lets make the day wonderful.. The elements are joyously moving around on the stage! (ENTER a HUMAN) (Start Track 6 ..) MAN : (first mixes with elements and then slowly starts blocking each one of them in with his creations building, dams, cuts down the trees, blocks water, air, checks fire and avoids the SUN). (all the elements are now locked and the human is laughing at his success) ha ha ha I am supreme. Nobody comes close to me when I start thinking. The elements may think that they are the source of

life. But see, I have put them in their place. They have nowhere to go without my permission. I am creator as well as destroyer. I can create whatever I like and destroy them whenever I want. I can control nature. Nature has no control on me. The earth have pillaged and ravaged it for my benefit.., Water - have stopped it from going anywhere. Will only go where I want it to go.. like this bottle (ha haha).. Air.you cant see it, but I can not only feel it, but block it too! So dont try to escape. Ha ha ha.. And look the pitiful state of fire. I light it when I want and shut it when I dont I use it for my benefit and yes I burn my fellow beings with it ha ha ha.. I am in control. I am.. and look at the poor Sun, I can block with my own hands, buildings, glasses and it cant do a thing The day is in my hand. And when he sets, I have created my own sun I dont him anymore and what can he do that I cant Ha ha.. I am the supreme being. ..(fade out track 6) (just then Sun escapes from his cage and starts glowing brighter ---the heat is unbearable) FULL LIGHT (sound track no 7 starts) Man I cant bear this heat it is drying up water, burning the air and scorching the earth I cant stand it SUN you have ravaged the resources that cool you down now bear the consequences (sound of LASER and track 7 at its crescendo)and the man starts crumbing (Sound track 8 starts as the FIRE ELEMENT erupts).. FIRE ha ha ha.. you you thought that you could control us now you will see what I can do.. (track 8 Crescendo) as the fire element tears into the human. (Switch to Track 9) AIR - ha ha ha I told you.. dont try to play with us. When we live together we are good leave us alone and we can cause havoc (track 9 crescendo) as air tornado breaks into all the human creations. (Switch to Track 10) Water - now you will see the power of this genteel form which will leave you devastated I am a tsunami (Track 10 crescendo..) Water destroys 3/4th of mans creation and leaves it tattered. (Switch to Track 11) EARTH I have been carrying your burden and pain all the time. Now is the time to remind you and there is fire in my belly too (Earthquake actions, all human creations destroyed).. All elements in Unison the human is found wanting and is fallen on the ground. The elements rest too.. (Track 11 ends, Track 12 starts) (lights dim .and a child enters)(Track 12 ends - silence. The child picks all the elements together. (new day starts. And sun rises again) CHILD what a wonderful day. Let us work with the elements and make our life a beautiful one. Earth, FIRE, WATER and Air are important for us to live. So let us respect nature and live in harmony. (Start track 13).. (All help the man to rise again.. and there is new LIFE)..
