When you respond to the call to help the indigent and less privileged students reach for their dreams, you become a part of the endeavor to fight poverty through education. As a sponsor, you will be given a customized Welcome Pack containing the sponsored Students Profiles, together with your Certificate of Sponsorship and other materials pertinent to your sponsorship. A Semestral Progress Report will be sent to you for you to be updated about the sponsored Students academic and cocurricular progress in DVC, including latest pictures. Your monthly donation will be added to the Scholarship Fund which will cover the monthly tuition fee dues, miscellaneous and other expenses of the students.

Poverty is an age-old problem in the Philippines, depriving millions of Filipinos of their muchdeserved good quality of life. For decades, various government agencies, private organizations, international agencies, and even individuals have endeavored to eradicate poverty.

Much as DVC desires to help more students in their pursuit of college education, it can only do so much. The fifty percent (50%) subsidy on tuition fees given to students is unfortunately not enough, because the students families can hardly afford the remaining half of the cost, so that many are compelled to drop out or stop schooling. The efforts of DVC to generate additional funds to cover the costs generated some good response, but the amount raised just is not enough. YOU can help DVC reach out to more students who need help. By contributing to DVCs Scholarship Fund, you enable DVC to grant scholarship to the indigent students.

...but can be ended through quality education.


The Davao Vision Colleges, Inc. (DVC) believes that poverty can be ended through education, because education equips an individual with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to work towards the betterment of his life and that of his lot. Given the proper values inputs and experiences, an individual can have better chances in life, thus totally transforming his life from poverty to a better life where he is able to reach for his dreams for himself and his family.
