Instructions for Use

Making administration of medication at home or in hospital easier than ever before.

1 - Fill a 60 mL syringe with the drug and diluent required, purge the syringe of air.*

2 - Remove the fill-port cap by turning counterclockwise, keep the cap on a sterile surface.

3 - Attach the syringe to the fill port by turning clockwise, do not over-turn. Close the clamp.

4 - Inject the contents of the syringe into the pump, repeat until the required volume is achieved.

5 - When filling is complete replace the fill cap.

6 - To prime the line, loosen the distal cap slightly and release the clamp.

7 - Purge the line of all air.

8 - Re-clamp the line and replace the distal cap.

* Priming Technique for Drugs Prone to Precipitation (e.g.: 5-FU) 1. Using the Directions for Filling below, fill Easypump with approximately 10 mL of diluent. 2. Follow the Priming instructions above. Note pump will prime quickly. 3. Fill remaining volume with diluent and medication. At completion, diluent will fill the tubing line, protecting it from precipitation, while the pump reservoir will contain the medication. The Easypump is now ready to be connected to any patients vascular access device. Store in the intermediary transport bag if connection is not to be made immediately. The Easypump ST should be filled 4 hours prior to use. The Easypump LT is ready to be connected immediately.
