Project Description(s): Collect, analyze and compare the pros and cons of various types of interconnectors such as EHV AC, HVDC, HVDC Light/Plus, etc. to identify the most appropriate one for bulk power transmission. Project Deliverables: A detailed study report with appropriate reference materials and a technical presentation to CLP planning engineers. Special skills required: Information collection and analysis skills

Overhead line & cable diversion will also be carried out in phase with the construction work.

Project Description(s): Implement the Supply Point System from Start to End, no missing error or otherwise with ban function before moving to next step.

Project Deliverables: At the Supply Point End stage, to study the possibility of auto-checking function onto various CLP IT system such as AMFM, DMS-Substation Number, with counterchecking function with MACS CS end-code activity i.e., activation of account, meter number & meter locality with possible enhancement to an auxiliary help function of some universally adopted common platform.

Special skills required:

Basic knowledge of CLP new supply administrative and engineering procedures/steps from submission of a new supply application to the final installation of an electric meter. Proficiency in using PC application with some knowledge of PC Programming

Special skills required: Good communication skill to interview stakeholders (including CLP staff, contractors, cable suppliers, etc), good engineering judgment, and analytical mind.

Improve efficiency of outage preparation and quality of the end product with the use standardized complex switching program with automated features to cater for different requirements and equipment.

Project Deliverables: Develop user-friendly applications to enhance and automate the existing outage template to streamline outage preparation for multi-ends transbution circuits under different combination of outage requirements and equipment.

Evaluate a new no-break voltage dip tester. Design and evaluate a standard LV changeover scheme. After completing evaluation tests, full test reports needed to be produced.
