POTENTIAL FOR SLIP (WHEN WET)

Cushionflor Supreme, Super Luxury and Impressions collections feature Aquagrip slip resistant technology. Unlike conventional cushioned vinyls, the level of grip is not significantly reduced by spills or splashes. Which means a floor for your home that is beautiful, practical and safer* to walk on. There are various tests which measure the grip of a floor. The test used for Aquagrip is BS7976. This follows the guidelines of the UK Slip Resistance Group and translates the co-efficient of friction into a Potential for Slip. The chart shown compares the performance of various floor types, including a commercial safety floor. No floor is slip proof , but Aquagrip lessens the risk of slipping, without compromising the look and feel in your home.

In s t a l l a t i o n For best results, professional installation is recommended. Before installation, subfloors must be permanently dry, smooth, level, clean and of sound construction. Full installation instructions are detailed in our guide to fitting and maintaining cushioned vinyl. Please telephone 01592 643777 or visit www.cushionflor.co.uk for your copy. Nairn Cushionflor can be installed over underfloor heating where temperatures do not exceed 70F. Maintenance Forbo recommend Monel for cleaning and maintaining Cushionflor. Monel has been especially developed by Forbo and is the only product required to care for your floor. Alternatively, Cushionflor can be cleaned using a mild solution of neutral detergent in warm water. Abrasive cleaning agents, or those which claim to need no rinsing, should NOT be used. Forbo do not recommend the use of any other cleaning products other than those mentioned above. Good practice is always recommended and food spillages, especially those containing staining or colouring agents, should be wiped immediately. Please note in order to retain its slip resistance the Aquagrip surface should not be treated using proprietory floor polishes. Forbo Monel is available from your local retailer. Guarantees Depending on the product you have chosen, Nairn Cushionflor has a wear guarantee of between five and ten years from date of installation. This is on condition that it is installed as a domestic floor covering, and is laid and maintained in accordance with our recommended procedures. Customers are advised to obtain a copy of our guide to fitting and maintaining cushioned vinyl. This guarantee does not apply where consequential damage is caused by abuse, accidents, the harmful effects of chemicals, the incorrect use of cleaning agents, or any type of commercial use. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Customers must retain sales receipt as proof of purchase.
