This is a simple card game to play. The aim is to get rid of all your cards. How to play Each player is given 6 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile on the table. The players take it in turns to pick up a card from the table. They should then throw a card away. They are trying to get groups of cards that go together. If you are playing with a young child they will need help, so they might like to pair up with an adult or older child. Some of the cards have pictures on them. Others have a change, an excuse and a solution. You need to get a group that seems to go together.

Family SEAL This year Miss Wilson introduced Family SEAL to the parents of children in Year 3. We were one of the first schools in Bexley to do so. Over the year 27 families have attended and everyone has enjoyed the time to try out SEAL activities with their children. We now have two other members of staff involved and are planning on rolling it out next year to the current Reception and Year 1. The highlight of the year was a BBQ last week for everyone involved. Many thanks to Miss Wilson, Mrs Reed, Mrs Huggins, Mrs Cox and Mrs Sweeney for all their hard work to make this such a success.

Thank you Thank you Party It is with great regret that we are unable to hold a Thank you party this year for all our parent helpers. We know the event was much appreciated by parents but due to our exceptional circumstances at the moment with the building works, congestion around school and time needed to ensure that classes are moved before the end of term we felt unable to hold the event. We would however like to thank all our helpers for their fantastic support and help given voluntarily to our children. Building News The first stage went well last week with 1B in the Breakfast room and Reception in the re-furbished room. This has allowed the builders to start work on refurbishing the rooms in the north end. We all hope the final moves next week go as smoothlywe are all looking forward to moving into the new south wing! FOB News Well done to members of FOB who organised a very successful Summer Fayre on Friday which raised over 600. Many thanks to all the helpers and especially to all those who gave up so much time beforehand preparing.
