SECTION B: NOTIFICATION OF OUTSIDE AID - Notify the Financial Aid Office if your Financial Aid award needs to be
revised to include any outside aid not listed on award for the 2011-2012 academic year. Scholarship amounts will be divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters unless the donor provides instructions otherwise. Outside aid includes, but is not limited to, all scholarships, grants and educational resources received from non-UNCG donors and organizations. To report outside aid, submit a copy of the scholarship notification letter, or a letter from the donor of the scholarship, to the UNCG Financial Aid Office so the outside scholarship can be applied to your financial aid. Do not report aid already included on your award letter. Note: The donor must send scholarship checks to the UNCG Financial Aid Office. The donor must also include: the name of the scholarship, the semester for which the award is made, and the recipients complete legal name & student ID number.

Parent must also sign in the signature box at the bottom of the page to reduce a previously requested PLUS loan. To request a Plus loan, or to increase an existing PLUS loan, parent borrowers must submit the Federal Direct PLUS Loan Request Form to the Financial Aid Office. 2 Initial acceptance of loan(s) must be done online through student UNC Genie account. 3 To request a Federal Graduate PLUS, borrowers must submit the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan Request Form to the Financial Aid Office. First time borrowers must sign a Master Promissory Note and complete an on-line Entrance Counseling Session at www.studentloans.gov.
