CRITERIA
A. EDUCATIONA L REQUIREMET S
1. Current Licensure as Registered Nurse 2. BSN + 12 units towards a Masters Degree in Nursing 3. Sixty (60) contact hours, twenty (20) of didactic and forty (40) hrs clinical components of training in postgraduate courses approved by the PRC BON council. The formal postgraduate course must be the area of certification applied for.

Every five (5) years recertification shall be based on either a successful completion of examination of continuing education. Continuing education requirement may be met using in-service, grand rounds, academic credits CCPEN credits and other related programs.
