* Anti graffiti and scratches varnish: The special coating used on the clear PC diffuser of Alumet Control and Stage is a highly transparent lacquer that provides abrasive resistance and hardness combined with improved climatic and chemical resistance. The abrasion-proof coating allows cleaning without problems. A soft cloth should be used for cleaning. Being also resistant to chemicals, adhesive dirt, fat or colour, graffiti can be removed by solvents or usual detergents. In term of performances, the treatment being transparent, it provides comparable photometric performances to non-coated diffusers. Also used for car PC headlights and the street luminaire Orus, this treatment has proved its efficiency.

Aluminium Fresnel discs directing light onto the ground

The light from a ceramic metal halide or Cosmopolis lamp is directed by a revolution reflector, located at the base of the column head, onto a set of Fresnel aluminium discs which capture virtually all of the light and redirect it to the ground. The number of discs and spacings are engineered to optimise light output and limit upward light (ULOR < 3%)

LED technology, now an acknowledged and viable light source, is a leading edge alternative to HIR-CE111 with the added advantage of colour effects without filters
Alumet Stage with 4 x 17W LEDs, spectacular in performance yet minimal in maintenance thereby enabling the settings to remain constant. Alumet Stage has been designed to optimise the heat management of the LED for a life span of up to 50 000 hours, 12 years at 4000 hours yearly burning time.
