INTRODUCTION

Come with us we will take you to the journey of India. In todays world many people have no idea about our Indian culture, ethics, food, folk dance, cuisine, life style etc. The advantage of study of Indian culture will being awareness in the people and at the same time to motivate them. The culture of India has been shaped by its long history, unique geography, diverse demographics and the absorption of customs, traditions and ideas from some of its neighbors as well as by preserving its ancient heritages, which were formed during the Indus Valley Civilization and evolved further during the Vedic age, rise and decline of Buddhism, Golden age, Muslim conquests and European colonization. India's great diversity of religious practices, languages, customs, and traditions are examples of this unique co-mingling over the past five millennium. The various religions and traditions of India that were created by these amalgamations have influenced other parts of the world too. We have no idea about what culture other people perform, which type of food they eat, from which religion they belong to, what the other people of India wears etc. We should feel ashamed of it because what etiquettes we are setting for our future generation. To overcome this situation we should have perfect knowledge about our nation, our country i.e. India.. In short if you want full knowledge about our culture, or you want to see various colours, festivals, religions, monuments, folk dance etc. then you must watch out. Its a complete package of everything that you are looking around. India also contains many different names like India is a land of Paradise, India is a land of Holy, India is a Heaven on the Earth and so on.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE

The main objective of these project is to make aware of our culture to the people. There are also some objectives for preparing this project which are as follows:- (limitations)

To help the foreingers who are coming here to learn more about our Indian culture. And also help to the students who are doing some researches on our Indian culture who are suffering from incorrect information with lenghthy discription. To help the guides with proper information for the future betterment of India..

The pepole are lacking the interest on Indian culture only because of nonattractiveness & infomative site. So thats why we are providing them attractive & informative site. Our site is prepared especially for the tourists, people in India, foreigners, students, guides etc.. It is truly user friendly & with some more features in it.

Project category

To create a attractive web site it is necessary to construct web pages more effective. For the construction of most effective web pages certain web page designing strategic and method of designing should be thought of.

Web page designing the concept can be exemplified be the concept can be exemplied by the concept of Interior decoration , now necessarily adopted for any office organization or even for house to attract customers, visitors or relatives. In the interior decoration every point or every corner within the four walls of building is paid attention so that everybody is hypotized and want to visit the same place again and again.

Inter related or interlinked web pages are stored at specific location of the net is known as web site.

TOOLS / PLATFORM TO BE USED

As the project aims at desining a number of web pages, the main platform (language) used will be

HYPER TEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE

Hyper text markup language is used for designing different web pages and its appearance. Due to use of HTML tags different special effect of text, picture, animation effect, color effect, text size and font styles etc can defined to make more attractive web page. To understand different web page construction strategies adopted for attractive web page representation, we can observe HTML codes or sources codes while browsing the web. Most of the web pages available in different wed sites are built up with HTML codes. HTML document consist of different instruction. Each construction is called as element. For building the web page we are used all HTML tags. HTML stands for Hyper Text Mark-Up Language:1) Hyper:- In Simplest term it means Active. The word hyper as part of HTML is similar in context. 2) Text:- Some part of the text in the document is hyper i.e. it allows a user to go to some other place. 3) Mark-up:- Mark-up comes from the fact that it is in order to create web pages, we will be typing in the text & then marking up the text. 4) Language:- Language means that we are using a language with all its syntax. Note that HTML is not a programming language.

A FEW COMMON TAGS:1)

<HTML> Tag:Starts the HTML document and contains that document surrounding everthing .

<HEAD> Tag:-

Contains the head of an HTML doucument, which holds information about the document, such as its title.

<TITLE> Tag:Contains the title of the HTML document, which will appear in the web browsers title bar and it is used by search engines to refer to the document.

<META> Tag:This tag is used for giving more information about your webpage.

5) <BODY> Tag:Contains the body of the HTML document, which includes the content that will actually appear in the Web browser. 6) <p> Tag:This tag is used to create a paragraph or to start a new paragraph. 7) <TT> Tag:Display teletype text; usually rendered in a monospace font(where each character has the same width). 8) <BIG> Tag:Display the text larger than usual. 9) <SUB> Tag:To appear enclosed text matter in subscript manner. 10) <SUP> Tag:To appear enclosed text matter in superscript manner. 11) <BR> Tag:It is used to giving a break line in a paragraph or to insert a line break into a page.

12) <TABLE> Tag:It is used for creating a table.

14) <TD> Tag:It is used to specifies the data for a table cell. 15) <OL> Tag:It is used for creating a ordered list. 16) <UL> Tag:It is used for creating a unordered list. 17) <FORM> Tag:It is used for creating a HTML form. 18) <FRAMESET> Tag:It is used for creating a frame. Replaces the <BODY> element & uses the ROWS or COLS attribute to set up the frame.

ANALYSIS

1) Study of old system:As per the old system like books to search the topics related to Indian culture have a lenghthy description which some time proves to be very boring.

We have to manually search page by page of the books for getting information on Indian culture.

It would be time consuming & at the same time it would be boring.

2) Problem of old system :It is a book which is printed in press as book have mistake, because of which people would get wrong information and may interpret wrong thing.

3) Need of new system :Updating of new information can be done easily and at the same time it would be in faster manner. It is provide a information on Indian culture and giving the conclusion for how important is to know about Indian culture.

Indian culture is a huge information provides which is related to India.

NUMBER OF MODULE

It has a single general module which handles the information of the user and opinion. The coding is done on the individual forms and when connection is needed the private function in the general called as modules.

There are maximum one or two forms which handles the personal information of user and opinion.

1) This website will be useful for not only for the people residing in India but also for the foreign tourist to know about diversity in India. 2) It will be an interactive approach which will definitely help tourists to plan their tours without any confusions. 3) This project will give all the minute details about the tours & various tourist places in India. 4) This is quite a dynamic project . There is a lot of scope for furture development.

Find any information regarding any place, religions, festivals etc. is very easy. i.e. fast retrival. This will save the time of the visitors or user. The updation in the site can be done very easily from time to time.
