N PURCHASE NECESSARY T ENTER R WIN. Participation constitutes entrant's Iull and
unconditional agreement to and acceptance oI these OIIicial Rules. The Auto-Darkening Helmet
Registration Survey Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Central Time ('CT) on July
15, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT pm on December 31, 2011 ("Sweepstakes Period"). The
Sweepstakes is sponsored by Hobart Welding Products, 1635 W. Spencer St., P.O. Box 1079, Appleton,
WI 54912-1079, United States oI America ("Sponsor").

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are eighteen years oI age or older and legal
residents oI the 50 United States or the District oI Columbia, and to residents oI Canada (except the
province oI Quebec) who have reached the age oI maiority in their province oI residence at the time oI
entry. Employees, oIIicers, and directors oI Sponsor, its aIIiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion,
and IulIillment agencies ("Hobart Personnel"), and immediate Iamily members oI Hobart Personnel, or
persons living in the same household as Hobart Personnel, are not eligible to participate in the
Sweepstakes. "Immediate Iamily" means parents, siblings, children and spouse. Void where prohibited or
restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subiect to all applicable Iederal, state/provincial, and local laws and
regulations.

HW T ENTER: Each person who includes his/her name, street address, city, state, zip code, e-mail
address, date oI birth and day time telephone number when completing an online Auto-Darkening Helmet
Registration Survey during the Sweepstakes Period will automatically be entered in the Sweepstakes once
Ior each such Registration Survey completed. Entries to the Sweepstakes may also be made by
submitting your name, street address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address (optional), date oI birth and day
time telephone number on a 3 inch by 5 inch postcard through regular mail; postage prepaid, to Hobart
Welding Products, Attn: Helmet Registration Survey Sweepstakes, PO Box 1079, Appleton, WI 54912.
Each postcard entry must be mailed individually. All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes
Period to be eligible to win. Entries will be deemed to have been made when they are received and
accepted by the Sponsor. No other method oI entry will be accepted. There is no limit to the number oI
entries each person may make to the Sweepstakes, regardless oI whether the entry is by completing a
Registration Survey or by mail. Incomplete or electronically or mechanically reproduced entries are not
eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, altered or tampered with or not submitted pursuant
to these OIIicial Rules are not eligible to win. In the event oI a dispute regarding the identity oI an online
entrant, online entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder oI the e-mail
address submitted at the time oI entry. The 'authorized account holder is the natural person who is
assigned to the e-mail address by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other
organization (such as a business or educational institution) which is responsible Ior assigning e-mail
addresses Ior the domain associated with the e-mail address. The Sponsor may, at any time, and in its
sole discretion, require prooI that you are the authorized account holder oI your e-mail account. Sponsor
is not responsible Ior incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry oI inIormation by participants; lost entries
or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled
transmissions or other errors or problems oI any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical
malIunctions or the computer hardware, soItware, or any combination thereoI; or problems associated
with any virus or any other damage caused to participants' systems.

PRIZES: One (1) prize consisting oI: one (1) $200 prepaid Visa giIt card. The prize has an approximate
veriIiable retail value ('VRV) oI $200. All prizes will be awarded. Standard ground, domestic shipping
is included with each prize. ALL FEDERAL, STATE/PROVINCIAL AND/OR LOCAL TAXES AND

FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY
OF THE INDIVIDUAL WINNERS. No substitution or transIer oI any prize or election oI cash in lieu oI
any prize by the winner will be permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize oI equal or
greater value. Prizes are nontransIerable.

SELECTIN WINNERS: Sponsor will randomly select the Winner Irom all eligible entries
received during the Sweepstakes Period. Winners will be notiIied by email and/or telephone within 10
days aIter the draw. Odds oI winning depend on the total number oI eligible entries received. Winners
may be required to sign and complete an AIIidavit oI Eligibility/Liability and Public Release and return it
within 10 days oI date oI postmark. Sponsor is not responsible Ior and shall not be liable Ior late, lost,
misdirected, or unsuccessIul eIIorts to deliver the notiIication to Winners. II a selected winner cannot be
contacted within 15 days oI the draw, is ineligible, Iails to claim a prize within 15 days oI initial contact,
or Iails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be
IorIeited and awarded to an alternate winner who will be randomly selected Irom the remaining eligible
entries. I1 winner has moved to a di11erent address. it is the sole responsibility o1 the winner to noti1y
the Sponsor or designated agent o1 their new address. Sponsor is not responsible 1or undeliverable
prize deliveries due to change o1 address. By accepting and/or using prize, winner gives Sponsor the
rights to use the winner's name, voice, and/or likeness Ior the purpose oI advertising, trade, promotion or
other commercial purposes, without Iurther compensation worldwide in perpetuity and in any Iorm oI
media including the Internet, unless prohibited by law.

CANADIAN PR'ISINAL WINNERS: In addition to the above, in order Ior a Canadian provisional
winner to win and receive a prize, he/she must Iirst correctly answer, unaided and without mechanical or
electronic assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by email or by
telephone. Failure oI a Canadian provisional winner to correctly answer the skill-testing question in the
time allotted will result in disqualiIication, the IorIeiture oI his/her interest in the prize, and the random
selection oI a substitute winner Irom among all remaining eligible entries.

CNDITINS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these OIIicial Rules
and the decisions oI Sponsor, which shall be Iinal. Sponsor, agents and representatives oI Sponsor, its
parent company, aIIiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and IulIillment agencies, and legal
advisors are not responsible Ior and shall not be liable Ior: (i) any condition caused by events beyond the
control oI the Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any iniuries,
losses, or damages oI any kind arising in connection with or as a result oI any prize, or acceptance,
possession, or use oI any prize, or Irom participation in the Sweepstakes; or (iii) any printing or
typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time iI tampering, unauthorized intervention,
or other technical problem oI any sort corrupts the administration, security, or proper play oI the
Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes or change any element thereoI, with or
without notice, at any time, due to printing errors, transmission errors or other mistakes in the production
oI the Sweepstakes or Ior any other reason. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualiIy, in its sole
discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, or who is otherwise in violation oI these OIIicial
Rules. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that all disputes will be resolved in the
appropriate courts in the state oI Wisconsin in the United States, exclusively, and subiect to the laws oI
the state oI Wisconsin. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant releases and holds Sponsor
and the employees, oIIicers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives oI Sponsor, its parent
companies, aIIiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and IulIillment agencies, and legal advisors,
harmless Irom any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions oI any kind in connection with the
Sweepstakes or resulting Irom acceptance, possession, or use oI any prize, including without limitation,

personal iniury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, deIamation, or invasion
oI privacy. Entries become the exclusive property oI the Sponsor and will not be returned. By entering the
Sweepstakes, entrant acknowledges and accepts that his/her e-mail address and/or other inIormation Irom
the entry (collectively "InIormation") will be used to contact entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes
and Ior other purposes as set Iorth in the Sponsor`s privacy policy in eIIect Irom time to time. A copy oI

entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that they have read the Sponsor`s privacy policy and consent to
its provisions.

WINNERS` NAMES: To obtain a list oI the winners` names and cities and states oI residence, send your

VT residents need not include postage. Requests must be received no later than eighteen months aIter the
end oI the Sweepstakes Period.
