Peak-to-peak current output capability is 100 amperes per channel. The amplier can drive virtually any load to any rationally usable current or voltage level. 18 MOSFET tracking downconverter 12 VDC trigger input for remote turn-on Glass epoxy double-sided circuit boards The intrinsic frequency response extends from 1 Hz to beyond 100 kHz. All resistors in the signal path are 1% tolerance metal-lm. Critical capacitors are lm devices with high dielectric strength and ultra low absorption characteristics. Two kinds of outputs: Voltage-Source (near zero impedance) output for all typical applications. Current-Source (higher impedance) output, which many prefer for electrostatic, planar magnetic, or ribbon speakers. The extra outputs may be used to biamp or biwire the speaker system with the voltage source driving the woofer(s) and the current source driving the upper part of the system. In many cases this provides by far the best possible interface between the amplier and the speaker system. The current-source outputs produce a sensuous, delicately detailed musical voice long associated with low-powered classic tube ampliers. (The current-source characteristic of vacuum tubes is the dominant factor in the soundstage delivery of classic tube ampliers.)
