Ever

since its emergence Pakistan has been facing

numerous problem such as poverty, corruption pollution, lack of infrastructure, economic flow down and education, Pakistan facing it all yes, it stand in continuously playing a major role, Pakistan in 63 years has been under military rule for most of the tenure. So why democracy is regarded as necessary for Pakistan? Democracy by its recollegent means rule of the people and its generally defined as government by the people of the people and for the people, it ensures that every person has similar exposure to the opportunities to advance, progress and excellent life. Democracy provides people, freedom, equality, empowerment and participation in development of the country. And it provides the people justice and perfection of there basic rights as Lincoln Abraham said: Democracy easy to begun but difficult to implement. Although Pakistan was founded on the principles of democracy. Its leadership which has been majority feudal more often democracy processed, considering the among of corruption, another it is likely that is has dictator ship that could burst down the Pakistans condition.

will globally democracy is a complete political trend democrat governments are widely accepted in face whether it be a success strong of Europe and America or the set back of Venezuela in 2002. Democracy has great proven the best modern political system of the world. The successfully achievement against terrorism, free media, and improve judiciary. Democracy would be the best solution to all problems extreme challenges to face in the world of developed and prosperous nations are competing for larger political influence and third world countries facing economic and technological immatureness both china and India engaging in joint manner and promoting democracy and changing scenario along Pakistans west border it is absolutely.

Important that the people especially south

of Pakistan they avoid to lose this progress. Although the challenges are great so is hope but the spirit of people is a key ingredient of democracy, evident in the nation our hard work is to take Pakistan on top of the world. The only question remaining is when will real democracy begin?

In this west democracy means liberal democracy a political

system prevailing in a free and independent country marked

Not only by free and fare elections but also by role of law, separation of dowers, independent judiciary, the protection of basic liberty of speech, religion, sanctity of contract and property. Today Pakistan is neither sovereign nor independent it is a rentier state to American lackey. I will lead; I will governed by a corruption power-hungry Junta supported by Washington.

Democracy is a delicate system of governess that requires careful nurturing

over a long period of consolidation. It faces more problems in a country that has experienced, extended phases of authoritarian rule. In variably such rule creates beneficial who find themselves irrelevant when the country returns to democracy and those engage in a whispering campaign against participatory governess democracy can succeeded only if political leaders maintain strong commitment to democracy in both theory and practice. Despite difference on polices they must work together to sustain the system by respecting and practicing democracy and constitutionalism. A major difference of democracy is that it can be destroyed through democratic means example democracy functions on the principle of majority role however winning a majority in the election doesnt mean give the government license to pursue any policies. Majority role can easily be turn into tyranny of the majority. If the legitimate and interest of political.

Minorities
spirit ridden context a and

democracy violent

Democracy can not flourish in a strife socio-political political however several

leaders dont recognized this inverse relationship between terrorism and democracy same well known parties are apposed to the governments efforts to control extremism and terrorism and demand to immediate suspension of military action against terrorist based in trible areas.

Finally Pakistan is fortunate to have returned to democracy after long periods

of direct and indirect military intervention however it would be premature to suggest that democracy has developed strong roots in Pakistan. It faces many challenges that cannot be addressed unless major political and societal groups work together within a democratic frame work to deal with Acute religious socioeconomic and cultural issues, control, and intolerance

neutralize militants that are using violence to advance there agenda.

IN DIFFERENT VIEW OF DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN

Contrary to what President Zardari says and believes, today the greatest threat to Pakistans democracy, in fact Pakistan itself stems not from religious militancy and secretarianism but from (a) the absence of a genuinely democratic political order, and (b) the surging American imperialism. The Farewell address of George Washington will ever remain an important legacy for small nations like Pakistan. In that notable Testament, the Father of the American Republic cautioned that an attachment of a small or weak toward a great and powerful nation dooms the former to be the satellite of the latter.

VIEWS OF DEMOCRACY
A large majority of Pakistanis endorse democracy. Most Pakistanis say it is very important to live in a country governed by elected representatives. Among those who want a greater role for Islam, support for democracy is even higher than among the population as a whole. Likewise, a large majority supports an independent judiciary.

PAKISTAN'S ECONOMY
Two thirds feel that Pakistans economy has gone off on the wrong track. Nonetheless, a majority approves of how the government is handling the economy.

TRADE AND GLOBABLIZATION

Large majorities endorse international trade and see it as beneficial for Pakistan, though only a plurality are positive about the idea of globalization.

EDUCATION
Majorities express confidence in the educational system and approve of the governments policies. Pakistanis put the highest priorities on teaching children religious values and good citizenship, followed by basic skills, problem-solving, and independent thinking. The development of democracy, let us not forget, has been hampered by the troublesome legacies of the military regimes, including ethnic fragmentation, alienation of the smaller provinces, and concentration of wealth and privilege among the class co-opted by the dictators. Democracy is an evolutionary system; and it does not come in a perfect template. We may have some universal principles like popular sovereignty and representative government, but these have to be rooted in the socio-cultural climate of a country. The class character of society and the layers of influence and power are reflected in who usually gets elected.

CONCLUSION
Pakistan may remain a transitional democracy until we have had at least three peaceful transfers of power through elections. Our elected representatives have a heavy burden to disprove the sceptics inside and outside the country by forming coalitions as they have and by building national consensus on difficult issues, as they appear to be doing. Academic freedom must be guaranteed and State interference in universities and other institutions of higher studies be eliminated. Interference in research activities, preparation of textbooks, and administration of student affairs must cease. Attempts to make academic work conform to State-sponsored ideology must be strongly denounced. Democracy is a natural system for an ethnically diverse and culturally pluralistic society like Pakistan. And this is why after every failed and discredited dictatorship, we have returned to democracy. Yes, we have democracy, but it may not be comparable with the quality of democracy in countries that have consistently followed this path of social and economic development. We need to make our democracy better in the interest of the common man. And it is a collective social enterprise that we cannot leave to the dominant elites. Popular stakes and popular civic engagement will keep us on the democratic track and will speed up the process to make up for lost time.
