1st CLASSIC RACE OF THE NORTH SEA OSTEND (B) 4th & 5th June 2011 SPECIAL REGULATIONS

On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of June, the K.V. Ostend Motor Sport association is organizing a European Classic Speed Contest and a Monobike Contest in Ostend, Belgium. The contests are open for all Belgian and foreign pilots. The contest is bound tot the regulations of the B.M.B. Sports code and to these special regulation. The contests are taken into account for the Belgian Championship. The circuit has a length of 1.880 meters. The contests will be run counter clockwise. Every manoeuvre indicating a wrong use of the prescribed direction will immediately be excluded from the contest. The allowed amount of Classic bikes during the training periods will be 39 as far as the Single Classes are concerned, 23 for the Side Cars and 32 for the Monobikes. The allowed amount of Classic bikes during the contests will be 34 as far as the Single Classes are concerned, 20 for the Side Cars and 28 for the Monobikes. The entrance fee is 150 for the first bike, 100 for the second bike and 50 for the third bike. All payments will occur by transfer to the account number (IBAN) BE87 7386 1715 8377 (BIC) KREDBEBB at the KBC-bank, Leopoldlaan 68 at 8430 Middelkerke. Every pilot is due to subscribe himself by use of the subscription document in attachment. The pilot has to be the owner of a license issued by a motor federation which is recognized by the UEM. Foreign participants need a starting allowance issued by their own federation. It is possible to acquire a license for just this one event, except for the Monobike. This license costs 45 for Belgian participants and 55 for foreign participants. In order to acquire this license, one has to be member of a V.M.B.B. or a F.M.W.B. club. (Subscribing as a member of K.V. Ostend Motor Sport vzw costs 12 ). On arrival at Ostend, and prior to getting access to the circuit, all participating pilots and their crew will be subject to an inspection. Participants have to present themselves at the INFO in order to receive all necessary documents which will allow access to the circuit for both pilot and his crew. For every subscription, the pilot is entitled to 3 access cards (Pilot + 2 crew members). For every extra subscription he will receive an additional two entrance cards. All other persons are required to pay the entrance fee. Any attempt of fraud with the entrance documents will be punished with exclusion from the contest. The Info will be opened on Friday 3 June 2011 from 13h00 till 23h00 and on Saturday 4 June 32011 from 06h30 till 15h00. The Technical control for both the motorbike and the complete equipment of the pilot and his passenger is mandatory and will take place on Saturday 4 June 2011 starting at 7.30AM. The wear of a F.I.M. homologated helmet (type INTEGRAL) is mandatory (Regulations BMB Classic Bikes 2011) as well as the wear of a complete leather suit, consisting out of one part, gloves, boots and dorsal protection. The use of a transponder is mandatory for the contest. Your transponder has to be fully charged and in perfect condition. The number of your transponder has to be communicated upon arrival at the INFO. It is also possible to rent a transponder at the unit, near the Start / arrival area, on Saturday 4 June 2011, starting at 07h30 AM. The fee for the rent is 15 . start at 19h30 on Saturday 4 June 2011. On Sunday 5 June 2011 the honouring will start at 18h30.
