CAMPMEETING 2011 REVIVE US AGAIN

Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Psalm 80:18 CAMPMEETINGS UNSUNG HEROES
Everyone loves the Evangelists, they are wonderful, and we couldnt have campmeeting without them. Theres nothing more moving than the singing of an anointed song evangelist and worshipping along with a tabernacle full of voices. We all adore Dr. Anthony and Larry Betz and look forward to seeing them every year. These are all essential to campmeeting, but today I would like to focus on campmeetings unsung heroes. The people who work behind the scenes, often unnoticed as they do what they do to make campmeeting happen for us all. From the volunteers in the kitchen who prepare the meals, and clean the mess after; to the loving people who hold the babies, or teach the toddlers and preschoolers. The more than 50 volunteers who make the children and teen services happen across the field. There are the maintenance guys who make sure the campsites are mowed and ready for us to camp, who get the lights back on when they go out during the service, and nail tarps to roofs to stop leaks. (dare I mention the honey wagon?) Campmeeting could not happen without all these unsung heroes, who do what they do out of hearts that want to serve the Lord. God bless them for their service. Maybe we all could consider how we could volunteer next year to help make campmeeting happen. Whether its for 3 hours during one meal or something more time consuming , you will be Saturday July 30th 2011 Todays Weather: 88/64 Mostly sunny
