Racial and Ethnic Groups Mexican Americans are ordinary people whos parents are Mexicans but now

they face a risk of loosing their citizenship, The Government is trying to denied citizenship to these people if their parents are illegal aliens living in the United States, I truly believe this is not fair for many of these people by accepting this law the Government would be violating the civil rights, as it is these people are already facing hard time as immigrants, Some people really go thought a lot of trouble just because they are Mexican Americans, They are some states that they really do not like these people like for example Arizona. I am Mexican and my kids are Mexican Americans and things are not as hard as there were before, when I came to the United States like 30 years ago, I remember when I needed to take special classes because I could not understand the language. The majority of Mexican Americans are Catholics and the believe in Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ They speak Spanish and they are different from Puerto Ricans, Cuban and Salvadorians every one have their own way of speaking and they might look the same but we are different and many ways, for example food, Puerto Ricans Americans are people born in US but they truly believe there are Hispanics they are proud and they called them selves Boricuas, controversy will always be there I think that this a Political issue this evolves around Puerto Rico, Why because some people think that they should not receive their citizenship. Cuban Americans have a very difficult life, many of these people have their relatives in Cuba a Country that faces communist, I am sure that this situation is not easy, most of these people have to risk their life by swimming miles and miles through the ocean hundreds of these people die in the middle of the ocean . This is a Political issued cause by the Government, because they like to have control over their people.

Salvadorian immigration has become a problem to the Government, I believe that the US Government are forced to approved these people some kind of work permit as refuges, this country has been in civil war, causing the country to drain out a big portion of the population, as a result the US Government allowed more than half of million people as refugees. Salvadorian people suffered discrimination from other countries like for example for them to travel to the US they must passed by other countries like Mexico some of them are robbed by Mexican people and sometimes even Mexican authorities, I see these every time on the news that People from Central America go through a lot of problems before they even cross the US border. Once these people come to the United States they still have to face the reality of finding work and a place to stay. Some of them have an option other not, and those that do not have an options sometimes end up in gangs, stilling or selling drugs. Some people fear of the Mara Salvatrucha gangs, I think that this is one of the biggest gangs in the United States history,

The United States face immigration problems on an everyday basis, but one of the most affected people are Mexican Americans we have less privileges than others, like for example for a Mexican people to apply for a relative petition sometimes may take years before the Government approve a Visa, but other like Asia or others country they have visas available, they figure that been so close is not convenient to approve so many visas to Mexican people. Puerto Ricans are considering US citizen; they speak the same language for they are fortunate to not face the same problems as Mexican, Cubans, and others. Most of the Hispanics are very religious, but I do see more religious than before, for example I remember a lot of Catholics now I see more Christians and Jehovah witness .
