These notes are intended to cover conclusions and recommendations made and not
to cover all opinions given at the meeting, these are to be captured in updates to
documents.

Introductions
Jason Brogden (JB) introduced the meeting

JB stressed that this group does not expect to decide the solution but will provide a well
informed recommendation for the group that take this forward and noted that this has
always been the position but this is stressed for clarity.

Notes of previous meeting

The notes of the previous meeting were agreed, bar the comment that the minutes say
they will agreements rather than opinions raised at the workshops and then did record
some comments as “it was suggested that…”

Project to record agreements in future notes.

Presentations
Representatives of the companies presented the solutions as follows:

1. Zensys presentation for Z Wave

2. Ember, PRI & Trilliant presentation for ZigBee at 2.4Hz
3. Coronis presentation for Wavenis
4. Cambridge Silicon Radio presentation for Bluetooth low energy
5. Amtel presentation for ZigBee at 868MHz
6. Q’Vedis presentation for Wireless M-Bus

It was agreed for all the presentations to be made available to the group on the
srsmlocalcomms.wetpaint.com website.
