- Models : 16 International Female & Male Models will put on show to wonderful music & prestigious choreography tailor made for this event. - Designers : Local, Pan Arab & Worldwide Fashion Houses and International Brand Names will participate and reveal their Latest Designs & Tobacco Inspired Styles. - Promotional Campaign : A wide Promotional Campaign will be run in various Media Avenues such as ( ATL, BTL, Electronic Media, Venue Branding ... ) creating a High Awareness and Big Impact for the event, among a Selected Target Audience while associating together Sponsors, Fashion Designers, Celebrities and Attendees. WHY ?
Lebanon has been proved to have the highest smoking trend increase, both for Cigarettes and the newly widespread Narjileh, Hubble Bubble in European terms. It was shown that a Lebanese adult smokes on average, 12.4 packs of cigarettes per month, 12 times more than adults in Singapore. In fact, studies have shown that 150,000 children and 350,000 adults will die prematurely because of smoking or secondhand smoke in Lebanon. Currently, approximately 25 % of the annual deaths in Lebanon are a result (directly or indirectly) of tobacco smoking. Smoking-related diseases, such as Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer and Respiratory Disease, cost Lebanon a minimum of $146.7 million a year. Roll into that price worker inefficiency due to smoking ($102 million per year), costs of environmental degradation ($13.2 million per year), and indirect costs due to tobacco mortality ($64 million per year). On the occasion of the World No Tobacco Day, on the 31st of May 2010 Mr. Sani Abi Nader the Creator of Cigar Fashion Show , has founded the Non Governmental Organization called :

" Non Smoking International Association " ( NSIA - )

which has been registered at the Ministry of Interior under the Nbr. 1241/2010 In the aim of fighting Smoking and reduce its spreading, especially among Youth, Minors, Students, Pregnant, Infirm and Sick. PEACE has decided to Organize the Cigar Fashion Show , in order to spread the Culture of Smoking Prevention especially among the Smokers themselves, and for pushing them to contribute in the fundraising of this project by devoting a Part of the events Profits to Support the Activities and Humanitarian Objectives of the " Non Smoking International Association " ( NSIA - .)
