About I am a prophet and teacher of the Lord Jesus Christ, thankful for 44 years of ministering the gospel of Christ. It was at the age of 12 that I had a visitation of God calling me to the work of the ministry. My first message was preached on my 13th birthday. The power of God has strengthened me, and I have remained faithful to that calling. God has manifested His promises in my

ministry and I have been blessed to see many miracles and healing. Shortly after the birth of my son (Ronald Jr.), I had a visitation of the Lord Jesus calling me to the ministry of the prophet. Now for the past 28 years I have fulfilled this office as an orator of God, I have encouraged his people to have a closer relationship with their Savior, preaching healing, and deliverance to all who will receive it.

The Joy of Loosing But, thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Cor 15:57) I do not know about you but I hate losing. My mind goes back in time to an incident when I lost miserably to my friend in a game of basketball. The score was something like 50-4. I was completely humiliated. Ten years on, I am still trying to defeat him and I hope
9|Page

to win somehow. My children, as they grew up, became good at playing basketball and they would accuse me of changing the rules. By doing this, I would win. No matter how many rules I changed, they were becoming more skilled and physically stronger and the results were obvious. When I was managing a drug rehab program in Minneapolis, one game that we played often was Dominos.

10 | P a g e

I had never played Dominos before and so they taught me the basic rules of the game. Again, I began to lose out and I hated it. I am a person who has to win in everything that I do, and I do not take losing lightly. I had to go out of town for a couple weeks to attend a few conferences. I used this opportunity to purchase books on how to play the game of Dominos. Doing those two weeks, I read the books and began to apply all the tactics that I
11 | P a g e

picked up. When I returned to the rehab program, I could not wait to be invited to play a game. I lost the first two games intentionally, then slowly I began to apply the principles and tactics that I had been practicing for two weeks and I began to win every game. At first, they thought my luck had really changed, and then they slowly began to realize that my approach to the game had changed. I went from being the worst loser to
12 | P a g e

setting new records. It always feels good to win.

13 | P a g e

The Spirit of Sportsmanship Remember as kids we were taught to nurture the spirit of sportsmanship. If the other team defeated you, you went over to shake their hand and congratulate them for the victory. I respected my coaches, but I had a hard time following that principle. I understood what they were trying to teach us, but I did not want to congratulate the opposing team.

14 | P a g e

Instead, my idea was to have a rematch, as I could not accept the failure. How in the world can you be a gracious loser? I see no fun in losing. You can become addicted to losing and become comfortable in living your life that way. You may have heard the statement "You win some and you lose some. Do you know that this is just an excuse for losing? One can become

15 | P a g e

accustomed to losing and cover it up with all kinds of excuses. I am this way because my father did not like me. You do not understand I was abused as a child, I am just not smart enough These are some of the commonly heard statements. These things may be true, but we often use them as an excuse and do not do any better, nor does anyone expect anything different
16 | P a g e

from us. Losing has become an addiction and we refuse to be taken off the drug. Overcoming obstacles and problems may not be always been easy, but you must make a conscious choice to do so. The first step to becoming a winner is changing your attitude. Honestly, how do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a winner in life, or you as someone accustomed to losing?

17 | P a g e

Breaking the Mold "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. (Pro 23:7) I always did not have a winning attitude. Life for me as a child was very difficult. My stepfather was physically abusive. This abuse made me look at myself as being useless and unfit. When someone tells you that you are stupid and no good (especially when it comes from someone in
18 | P a g e

authority), you begin to accept his or her words. Breaking out of this mold is not easy, but it can and must be done. Buried deep inside me was a winning attitude waiting to be unleashed. Step-by-step, the winner in me began to take over. Let me share with you some of the steps I took for this transformation to take place. If you apply these steps, I

19 | P a g e

am sure you will see the same results in your life, too. I begin to see myself as God sees me. This is probably the most difficult step. Yet, it is the most important one. Until you see yourself differently, you will not act differently. Because you think you are a failure, you act like a failure. Have you ever seen a dog that acts like a cat? The dog can only behave the way it was designed. No matter how much training you give, it will behave
20 | P a g e

like a dog. Thank God, we humans can change from our negative thinking and actions and become what God really created us to be. I remember when God began to show me who I really was and what I really look like to Him. It was almost frightening and it was a radical change. This can be found only in the Word of God. He created me to be successful in every area of life. God never created a loser; you lose because you make the
21 | P a g e

choice to lose. You are created in the very image of God. When we lose, we discredit the image that God has created us. God made us the head and not the tail, to be above and not beneath. Why do people always say that they are under circumstances? Life has its trials, tests, and difficult circumstances. You must learn how to be on top of the circumstance, and not let the circumstances take control of you.
22 | P a g e

I am not pretending that this happened overnight -- it did not. I had to begin to walk the path of winning no matter how difficult it was.

23 | P a g e

Develop Holy Habits Remember losers develop losing habits. You always set yourself up to lose and eventually a habit forms. Somewhere along the line, I picked up the saying Creating Holy habits. How easy it is to develop and to continue practicing bad habits. Some of us have an addiction for bad habits. We know that the practice of forming bad habits only entrap us, with more snares from the enemy. How many of
24 | P a g e

us get addicted to winning habits? I learned that habits did not have to be bad; I just had to develop good habits. Why develop a habit for eating incorrectly when it is just as easy to develop a habit of healthy choices. You can choose and develop the habits you wish to create in life be it good or bad.

25 | P a g e

Break the Cycle of Excuses You have been so used to losing that you have an excuse every time you lose. This just becomes natural. You even form a false sense of humility. You make it look like it is some kind of religious right to be a loser. Some people even have the audacity to include God in their excuses. If God wants me to do better, he would have made me better. You must make a determination never to use excuses for
26 | P a g e

your failures. Failure is no longer an option. This is what God told me about excuses, Excuses are the vision of the enemy to keep you in a place of failure. Remember the man who lay at the pool from 38 years. Jesus asked him if he wanted to be made whole. The very first thing the man did was to give an excuse. I have no one to put me in
27 | P a g e

the water when it is being stirred, he said. He became accustomed to living that way. Maybe it is just my way of thinking, but in 38 years, I would have found a way to get into the water. It is time for you to pick up your bed and walk, because Jesus is here to change your perspective and teach you to be a winner. The cripple man was required to do something, to leave his excuses behind, pick up his bed, and walk to fullness.
28 | P a g e

Turn Every Failure Into a Success This is by no means a simple process. It may require you to re-educate yourself in different areas of your life. You may have to ask someone to teach you a new skill. Learn to re-think your previous approach. Take time and examine the reason for the failure. My uncle was a professional bowler who had trophies in almost every room in the house. Winning to him was more than just the score in the end. True
29 | P a g e

winners look at their failures and weakness and become determined to turn them into strengths. It is not always easy to face the weaknesses and failures of your life because they will stare back at you and say, You cannot win, you will never be able to overcome. There must be an inward determination to turn every failure to success. Use every failure as a step up to success. Let me repeat myself
30 | P a g e

again, never give up until you are successful.

31 | P a g e

The Holy Spirit is There to Assist You Have you ever needed help in getting something accomplished? Have you ever been in a place or a situation not knowing what to do and how to act? Jesus said he would send the Holy Spirit to help us. Often we think that the Holy Spirit helps us only in spiritual matters. Yes, the Holy Spirit helps us understand the Word of God and other spiritual truths. However, the Holy Spirit helps us in every area of our life.
32 | P a g e

He, the Holy Spirit, will bring back to your memory the word of God to help you in whatever area you may need assistance. There were many occasions in my life when I did not know what to do or how to be victorious in a given situation. I realize more than ever before now that I need the help of the Holy Spirit to win in every area of my life. I am learning to wait on him, hear His advice, and yield to His direction. The AMP translation
33 | P a g e

brings out the full meaning of the word Comforter. It is Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Stand-by. How powerful the Holy Spirit becomes in my life if I give myself to all that He has to offer. I remember on this particular occasion my supervisor who would not do his job properly. He would take the credit for the work that we did. When I confronted him, he became very angry and was determined to have me
34 | P a g e

terminated. I requested a hearing from the Department Manager, in which, the supervisor leveled false charges against me. The Holy Spirit spoke to me gently and directed me to be quite. *Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psa 46:10)]. Even though I wanted to defend myself and prove the supervisor wrong, I chose to follow the Holy Spirits directions in this situation.
35 | P a g e

Finally, he finished and the Holy Spirit directed me to give the Department Manager a written report. I did not utter a word. She began to read the report and soon she understood that the supervisor had been taking credit for other peoples work. When she finished reading the report, she asked me if I could validate this report. I told her that I had all the documentation needed for validation. She turned to my supervisor and announced his
36 | P a g e

termination. In addition, I was asked if I was keen to take up the supervisors job. The next morning the department had a new supervisor only because I followed the directions of the Holy Spirit. By yielding to the Holy Spirit, He was able to intercede for me. In every situation, we must learn to allow the Holy Spirit as He pleases with our lives.

37 | P a g e

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. In addition, He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. (John 14:26 AMP). The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they
38 | P a g e

may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) (John 10:10 AMP). It is hard to enjoy life being a failure in everything that you do. Jesus said he came that we may enjoy life and have it in abundance. That means a whole lot more than just finances; this is learning to be successful in every realm of life. In your place of employment, you are the best at what you do. In your marriage, you have learned the
39 | P a g e

principles of God and apply them to your marriage. Being a single person, you can apply Gods principles in order to live a successful life. You are not just living, but you are living the abundant life that God intended for you.
