Rules
1. Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant reserves the right to modify, revise or change any information contained in these rules and regulations or to the official contracts signed by each parent/guardian on behalf of their minor child or State Queen if she is of legal age. 2. Winners must fulfill their duties and will abide by all rules and regulations set forth here and conduct themselves in a manner representing the high standards, which the Miss Build Your Biz Beauty title demands. 3. Any Queen that cannot abide by the rules and regulations set forth here and in their signed contract will be asked to relinquish their title within ten days and cover any and all expenses to award the title (at the state directors discretion) to the first runner-up (if available). 4. Some mandatory events/appearances will be required of all State Title winners. Each new Queen will be emailed or mailed a welcome letter, which

will include specific information regarding required events/appearances etc. as soon as possible after the State Pageant. 5. State Winners are allowed to compete in other pageants during their reign but State Queens are required to represent their Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant title solely at all times. 6. State Queens are not allowed to compete in any pageant during their reign that would interfere with the Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant. Ask your State Director concerning this. 7. All Queens must return as the reigning Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant titleholder wearing their official crown and banner and crown their successors. 8. Contestants must be single, never married, or never had a child in the Preteen, Teen, Miss Divisions. 9. Contestants and/or parents are NOT allowed to approach the judges at ANY time during the pageant. Your score sheets will be mailed out after the pageant. If you would like a copy of your Score Sheet, please include a self addressed stamped envelope with your application. 10. Judges decisions are FINAL and indisputable. 11. Talent Tapes, CD's, and Photogenic Pictures will be available for pick-up at the auditor's table immediately following Pageant. We will not be responsible for keeping or returning any items left behind. 12. Only the contestant and one chaperone are allowed in the dressing room. 13. Hairdresser and/or Make-up artist are not allowed in the dressing room, unless they are the chaperone. 14. Contestants Numbers should be worn on the left side waist area. 15. Contestants must be on time for scheduled competitions. We cannot delay the competition for ANY contestant. The pageant staff will not be responsible for informing contestants of times of scheduled competitions. This is the responsibility of your chaperone. 16. Only "Official" Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant applications and information may be distributed at or during the pageant. Any such material for other pageants will be removed! 17. Additions or changes to the application information may be made up to 2 weeks prior to the pageant. 18. No Solicitors will be allowed at the event location unless approved by the State Director. 19. Please do not leave valuable items unattended in the dressing room or bathroom areas. The Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant is NOT responsible for anything lost or stolen.

20. We would ask that everyone wait before approaching the stage area with flowers and gifts for the contestants until all official pictures have been made. 21. We reserve the right to disqualify any contestant or refuse entry to anyone in this or future pageants for poor sportsmanship or not honoring the duties of their title. Any and all legal fees incurred will be the responsibility of the contestant, parent(s) and/or guardian. 22. NO Fighting, Arguing, or Bad Language will be allowed! 23. I have read the above rules and regulations. I agree to hold harmless the Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant, the Executive State Director, Staff, Board Members, and any of the pageant's agents. The Miss Build Your Biz Beauty Pageant will not be held responsible for any accidents, items lost, and anyone that gets hurt before, during or after the pageant. 24. All contestant must be residents of Louisiana and a natural born female.
