    Deductive Reasoning Rubric

    Deductive reasoning is evident the way students make generalizations, relate conditions, support data, asses value, and draw inferences. At least two or more of these elements should be present at a score of 3 or higher work samples to be considered.

    Rubric for Deductive Thinking Evaluation

    Level One GENERALIZATION


    Identifies at least one generalization which relates to the situation with assistance Identifies at least one condition that relates to the generalization with assistance

    Level Three
    Identifies at least one generalization which relates to the situation when given enough time

    Level Five
    Easily identifies more than one generalization and may relate these to multiple situations

    CONDITIONS
