Roads Service N.I. Approval of retaining walls

The Roads Service in Northern Ireland require all retaining walls that are either within 6 metres of a road boundary or that support a public highway, to have full TAS approval (Technical Approval for Highway Structures). Anchor Landmark from Acheson & Glover is already TAS approved giving you the confidence to use Landmark in the following situations:

Above the road level - Landmark walls of any height can be built to retain the cut face. Below the road level - Landmark walls of up to 10 metres can be built to support the highway above.

Anchor Landmark holds BBA Roads & Bridges accreditation, it is therefore suitable for use in structures requiring TAS approval from Northern Irelands Road Service.

Westlink M1 upgrade, Belfast
