How does it work? 1. Once NJQS receives a suppliers application and payment, login details and instructions on how to fill in the prequalification questionnaire are sent to suppliers. 2. Suppliers complete and submit the NJQS prequalification questionnaire. 3. NJQS reviews the information and notifies the supplier of any areas requiring further clarification. 4. NJQS carries out a final review before the data is released onto the live system, where it can be viewed by registered buyers. At the same time, suppliers will receive confirmation that registration has been successful. 5. NJQS determines which suppliers will be required to undergo a product specific audit to assess their capability to supply a product or service they have pre-qualified for. Suppliers will receive notification of the audit protocol and a choice of dates for the audit. 6. Suppliers will be reminded periodically to update their information on the system. Suppliers can update their company information as and when necessary, at any time.
Registration is the first step towards becoming and oil and gas industry supplier. The next step involves each supplier completing a pre-qualification questionnaire. This information allows NJQS to begin to evaluate for the pre-qualification process. Both buyers and suppliers shall pay fees as set by the Steering Committee. Some companies may wish to register as both a buyer and a supplier, and will be required to comply with confidentiality restrictions.
