WHO IS YOUR ENEMY?

We who are living in this world might have enemies. We hear people saying so and so is my enemy. Are they really our enemies? For how long would they be our enemies? They may be our enemies only when we are alive but not after our death. We still believe the lines of some of our poets who said a poet can reach the places where even the sun could not reach. How far is this true? God revealed many things in the Bible which our poets are ignorant of. The poet found only anger to be mans worst enemy. Do you know about the sins that are coming out of mans body? Galatians 5:19 says, Now the works of flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like. All these come out of man and destroy him as well as others finally. It is indeed sad of a poet to see only the anger as the real enemy of man when we see so many creeping up. If it is only anger which is our enemy then are the remaining 15 our friends? Our body which has so much filth in it is our real enemy. Many are unmindful about this fact. Who is responsible for ones selfishness? It is of course his body and its desires. Being ambitious about something or waging wars, looting others or killing them, body is the center for every thing. Why do people fight? James 4:1 says, Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasures that war in your members? It is satisfy their bodily desires that people fight. It is because we are jealous of other people and their well being that we fight. We see to it that even the others have nothing like us or we get everything of theirs. Apostle describes how bad his body is! Romans 7:18 says, For I know that in me (that is in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. Romans 7:24 says, O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? We think some outsider to be our enemy but in fact it is your body which is our real enemy. This body makes us do every wrong to satisfy its desires and finally mixes with mud leading us to Hades. It never lets us to think about God or Heaven. It stops from entering into heaven which is eternal and takes you into hell which is very tormenting. Is it not your real enemy? Galatians 5:17 says, For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not the things that you wish. Not only that there are many that come out of our heart which corrupt us. They are evil thoughts, thefts, uncleanness, murders, adultery, deceit, fornication, lewdness, etc. So, it is indeed our body which is our real enemy. Fight it. ===
