Faith: Some have been wondering “how it all

happened.” Will you answer that now?

In my teenage emptiness and darkness, I wasn’t a
“bad” person. I was just a lost sinner on his way to hell -
just like you were. Isn’t that right?
When I was about 17, I remember standing in the
upstairs living room where I had grown up from babyhood
and wondering why I felt so empty and miserable inside.
The reason is as easy as pie - I had been simply neglecting
to give my life totally to Jesus, and to take Him - all that He
is, as mine. I’d neglected to get to know Him - drifting
along {as a “good” person} without Him. If this describes
you, fall on your knees, and pour your heart out to our kind
Father in Jesus’ holy name. Don’t get up until you know
that Jesus Christ is your Saviour from all sin and that your
sins are gone! Praise God! “We have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
As I stood there looking at the things I’d been familiar
with since I was a baby, and remembering the peace of mind
I used to have, I said to myself, “I wonder if I’ll ever have
that peace of mind again? Will I always have this emptiness,
restlessness, and darkness? I guess I will. I guess that’s just
the way it is when you grow up.”
So I went away, planning to be miserable for the rest of
my life. Without Jesus, that’s the way it is. You can never
get “good” enough to “earn” for yourself peace with God.
Martin Luther beat himself with a whip. The more they try,
the worse it gets. That mental agony causes people to drink
alcohol, try to get money, sex, drugs, pleasure, fame. This
guilt causes many to go insane. It causes people to kill
themselves. It’s a big part of what killed Jesus on the cross
when He “tasted the sufferings of death for every man.” DA
694. Here’s what happened -
“As the agony of soul came upon Him, ‘His sweat was
as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. .
. The humanity of the Son of God trembled in that trying
hour. He prayed not now for His disciples that their faith
might not fail, but for His own tempted, agonized soul. . . .
“The awful moment had come – the moment which was
to decide the destiny of the world. The fate of humanity
trembled in the balance. Christ might even now refuse to
drink the cup apportioned to guilty man. It was not yet too
late. He might wipe the bloody sweat from His brow, and
leave man to perish in his iniquity. He might say, Let the
transgressor receive the penalty of his sin, and I will go
back to My Father. Will the innocent suffer the
consequences of the curse of sin, to save the guilty? The
words fall tremblingly from the pale lips of Jesus, ‘0 My
Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I
drink it, Thy will be done. . . Having made the decision, He
fell dying to the ground from which He had partially risen.
“But God suffered with His Son. Angels beheld the
Saviour’s agony. They saw their Lord enclosed by legions
of satanic forces, His nature weighed down with a
shuddering, mysterious dread. There was silence in heaven.
No harp was touched. Could mortals have viewed the
amazement of the angelic host as in silent grief they
watched the Father separating His beams of light, love, and
glory from His beloved Son, they would better understand
how offensive in His sight is sin.
“In this awful crisis, when everything was at stake,
when the mysterious cup trembled in the hand of the
sufferer, the heavens opened, a light shone forth amid the
stormy darkness of the crisis hour, and the mighty angel
who stands in God’s presence, occupying the position from
which Satan fell, came to the side of Christ. The angel came
not to take the cup from Christ’s hand, but to strengthen
Him to drink it, with the assurance of the Father’s love. He
pointed Him to the open heavens, telling Him of the souls
that would be saved as the result of His sufferings. He
assured Him that His Father is greater and more powerful
than Satan, that His death would result in the utter
discomfiture of Satan, and that the kingdom of this world
would be given to the saints of the Most High. He told Him
that He would see of the travail of His soul, and be satisfied,
for He would see a multitude of the human race saved,
eternally saved. [Praise God!]
“Christ’s agony did not cease, but His depression and
discouragement left Him. The storm had in nowise abated,
but He who was its object was strengthened to meet its fury.
He came forth calm and serene. A heavenly peace rested
upon His bloodstained face. He had borne that which no
human being could ever bear; for He had tasted the
sufferings of death for every man.” DA 689-694.
Wonderful Jesus!
Praise God that no one need go month after month with
the horrible feelings of guilt and separation from God! If
you have this now, you don’t need to have it a minute
longer! The lovely Jesus took this horror upon Himself in
your place. He did it for you! And it killed Him. Surrender
totally to Jesus right now. Rest your whole soul in His love!
Trust Him as a little child - and your sins are gone! Do you
comprehend that? Praise God! “‘Being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
“Whoever consents to renounce sin, and open his heart
to the love of Christ, becomes a partaker of this heavenly
peace.” Sons and Daughters of God, p. 306. Praise God.
Now you know how I felt, and why. It would be another
year or two before the Lord would be able to help me to see
and understand the simple things you’ve read in the last
three minutes. But I praise Him that I finally stopped
ignoring Him and let Him melt my heart with His love - so
that I surrendered totally to Him and started trusting Him as
a little child. I “found” Him through the book Thoughts

heart. I was 18 when I was finally born the second time.

Now everything was bright and happy again as it was

Conference to be a pastor, and an associate evangelist.
At Loma Linda University our first class was called

Cooper anymore. They put a beautiful color cover on it, put a nice high price
on it, and put it in the bookstores. Then people buy “one” at a high
price, and after a year or two the sales go down. Many times the book
goes out of print, and that’s the end of it. {I’m not against publishers.}
But unbeknown to me, our kind Father had another plan. He had me to publish the NSL preachers myself, and
instead of the book fading away after a few years like most books do, God made it to work out just the opposite to that.
I’ve also written other books entitled The Agony and The Ecstasy, Two Months Yo Live {telling how over 40 people were
cured of cancer after their doctors gave them up to die}, Seven Secrets of Family Happiness, Secret Sin of Foolish
Virgins, and a few others including the Henry Potter book to help lead young people away from the devil to the lovely
Jesus. I don’t mention these other books much because [though the subjects in them are important] I don’t want them to
take the place of the one little “preacher” which has the power to help the masses receive the seal of God instead of the
mark of the beast. The NSL preacher is now on CD for people to listen to - as you’ll see in the little form at the end of
page 6. I will give a free copy of any one of these little books {that you mark at the end of page 6} to those who get NSL

Faith: So how did you get NSL preachers printed? God! What a savior!
Pastor Jan: I went down to a little rinky-dink printer in Orlando, and he
printed 1000 books for $1000. (

the glory and not you.
Another thing is that if God is in something, the doors will open - even while the devil is fighting it, and it will take
off and fly like a dove. If God is not in it, the doors will close, or, if the person is ungodly, the devil may “bless” it until it
is destroyed by fire - like when Hitler and his friends tried to take over the world.
Charity: Then what happened?
Pastor Jan: From May until December of that first year, 800 of those first thousand went out just by word-of-mouth.
The next year 8000 went out. The next year 80,000 went out. God was multiplying them 10 times each year. The next
year it was up to a third of a million. The next year, three fourths of a million. Now for the past eight years or so, King
Jesus has been pushing about 2 million of them out each year until there are now 29.8 million in print in 58 languages
around the world. Our kind Father gets all the credit and praise.
From the beginning, I decided that not one penny from the books would go to me, but that every bit of it would go
into God’s work to reach more souls. I thought that if I do it this way, then God can bless more, and more people can be
reached with God’s message, which means eternal life to them. Remember that those who live for money now will die
with their money. Those who live for ease and pleasure will end up with the mark the beast. Those who live for Christ
will live forever.
Pastors, teachers, Bible workers, colporteurs, church members, and godly conference officials have been inspired by
our kind Father to get millions of the NSL preachers to hand to people, put on doorsteps, benches, phone booths, under
