OVERVIEW
The PureVu-3DTM CNW5321 is a full HD H.264 3D video co-processor, speci cally designed to enable wireless display capability on PCs, notebook PCs and netbooks. It combines up to 1080p H.264 compression capability with HDCP 2.0 content protection in a highly integrated MCM package (including DDR2 video memory), making it the ideal solution for laptop Display Minicard (DMC) form factor. By completely o oading the laptop CPU from the compute intensive video compression and encryption tasks, the CNW5321 from Cavium allows almost the entire processing power of the host CPU to be available to the user, while the PureVu-3DTM chip enables remote viewing of the laptop content, be it stored locally, or streamed from the internet.
