I wanted to let all of you know that we are invited to a Youth Rally at Crestview Baptist Church in Lakeland this coming Friday 8/26/11. Our youth band will be leading worship and I will be speaking. We will leave Midway at 6pm and return around 9pm. Please make plans to be there. Also, as you know we are heading to Rock The Universe on Friday, September 9th through 11th. SUNDAY If youre interested in going please 8:00am Caf opens let me know by Wednesday, August 8:30 - 9:45am First Service 31st. The cost is now only $125.00 9:45am Caf reopens per person. The Mens Bible Study is Follow Me, Walking with Jesus in everyday life. The cost of the book is $7.00 and available at the meetings. Elmer Bubba Monroe III 6/16/1982 to 8/15/2011

A carpenter by trade with Ciara Designs, he is survived by his wife, April, children, Austin and Reagan, his parents Elmer and Marie Monroe, spiritual parents Pat and Angela Culpepper and a host of loving family members, to many to name. Bubba enjoyed serving the youth here at FBC Midway, he also enjoyed cars and Nascar racing. A Celebration of his life took place yesterday afternoon at FBC Dover. He was laid to rest at Hopewell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to FBC Midway, memo line to read: Monroes Children Scholarship Fund.

His memory will remain in our hearts and his smile will never fade. He knew Jesus as his personal savior and hes in a better place. We will miss him, but we know he is much happier now, and we will see him again someday.
