BOOK
Moore, Japans economy stalls as tremors rattle markets, The Telegraph, 12 April, viewed 12 April 2011, <http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/8443904/Japans-economy-stalls-astremors-rattle-markets.html> In this article Moore discusses the economics impact from Japans earthquake. The author use data gained through surveys, information collected from government, and interviewing some economic role in Japan. His research focuses on how Japans economic affected directly from earthquake, for instance damage production facility, damage on nuclear reactor, and International Monetary Fund cut Japans economic growth forecast. This article is useful for my research topic, as Moore provides details in Japans economic post tsunami and how Japans government sure that they do not need Bank of Japan do the underwrite bonds to rebuilding their country. The main limitation in this article is the article does not discuss all the economics impact, this article just give the reader a picture through whole economics impact which is an essential part of my task. However, much relevant information required in effect of earthquake in Japans economics is discussed in depth. This article does not passes the reliability test as this is a newspaper article that aims to general public not a specific audience, then the author is unknown that is not associated with a university and government organizations. Even though this article does not pass the reliability tests, this article provide much information that is useful for my assignment related to impact of natural disaster in economics specifically this article will assist me greatly in understanding and knowing how is Japans economic condition after massive earthquake.
