ACTIVITY INFORMATION
11-39488 (HOME INVASION) Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp investigated a residential burglary which occurred in the 1200 block of East Forest Ave. Police were called on 8/17/2011; investigators are still attempting to determine when the break-in occurred. Entry was gained through an unlocked garage. Two laptop computers were stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.

11-39481 (HOME INVASION) Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp responded to the 3000 block of Mott Rd for the complaint of a residential burglary. Police were called on 8/17/2011; investigators believe the break-in occurred during the past three days. Entry to the home was gained through the front doorwhich had been pried open. Several appliances were reported stolen. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 washing machine (unknown make) 1 stove (unknown make) 1 clothes dryer (unknown make)

11-39494/11-39501 (HOME INVASIONS) Deputies assigned to Dexter Twp are investigating two (2) burglaries reported to have occurred in the 9000 block of Dexter-Pinckney Rd. No further details were available. No arrests have been made. The incidents remain under investigation.

ARREST INFORMATION

11-39450 (LARCENY/BURGLARY ARREST) Deputies from Scio Twp arrested a subject from stealing a power washer from the McDonalds restaurant located at 373 N Zeeb Rd. Deputies were called to the area by employees at about 4:30AM--several employees were still inside of the restaurant after closing. The employees witnessed a suspicious male around the maintenance shed behind the restaurant. Deputies responded and found the suspect near an adjacent building. The stolen property was recovered. A 52 year old male was taken into custody without incident. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutor for review.

11-39436 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST) Deputies patrolling Scio Twp arrested a suspected drunk driver on 8/17/2011, at approximately 1:00AM. Deputies were called to the area of 3900 East Delhi Rd for a single vehicle traffic crash. During their investigation the deputies determined the driver had been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Field Sobriety Tasks were conducted at the scene. The driver was arrested without incident. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutor for review.
