The Kravitzes and Stephens participate in a program that allows orphaned children to stay with adults for the holidays. When an ankle injury confines Darrin to bed, Samantha enchants the house so it can fulfill Darrin's needs. Darrin becomes intoxicated with the idea of magic, and starts encouraging Samantha to use her powers, but the change is not all for the better. Note: Endora addresses her son-in-law as "Darrin" for the first of only eight times in this episode. It turns out the original designer (Dick Gautier) is a client of Darrin's, and at his New York fashion show, he faints when he sees Samantha and her friends in his outfits. Tired of hearing how smart Gladys's baby nephew is, Endora uses witchcraft to make the still infant Tabitha talk fluently. The shocking speech makes its way into the national news thanks to Gladys's big mouth. Note: This is the last episode filmed by Alice Pearce as Gladys Kravitz who died on 3 March 1966. When Samantha uses her powers to embarrass a professional witch debunker (Bernard Fox), he unknowingly employs an amateur spell to make her disappear. A private detective named Charlie Leach, hired by a potential McMann and Tate client to learn more about Darrin's home life, catches Samantha in the act of using her powers. Gladys's brother Louis is a gifted violinist afraid to play in public. Samantha uses her powers to help him overcome his fears. Note: This is the final black and white episode and the last to feature Alice Pearce. Though shown at the end of the season, three months after Pearce's death, it had been filmed June 24, 1965. The introduction presents the remainder of the episode as a flashback, to explain Samantha's pregnancy in the scenes.

Endora is worried about Uncle Arthur's influence on Tabitha during his extended visit, so she zaps her house onto a nearby vacant lot to better keep an eye on him. Samantha then corrects her mother's addition to the painting and all is restored, until Samantha tells the Tates that Darrin first gave up painting (as a hobby) because he gets extremely allergic. He insists to Darrin and Larry that Endora promote the idea on a TV show, which she ultimately refuses due to an upcoming ski date. Samantha poses as Endora in order to do the TV show, but the deception is short-lived when the real Endora appears, magically, on live TV. Darrin convinces both Larry and Bobbins that the "special effects" taking place on the show was his idea, and Bobbins is sold on it. John McGiver and Jim Lange (The Dating Game) guest star. All is eventually settled when Samantha nearly destroys the costume Mary was wearing, and Mary decides that Samantha just is not cut out for the tooth fairy business. Serena causes more trouble by impersonating Samantha and being overly affectionate to Darrin and his client. Samantha returns just in time to smooth things over, and to explain one of Tabitha's toys, a hairy troll, which was left bewitched by Serena. Bob Cummings and Nan Martin guest star. Darrin, throughout all this, is in the middle of working on a new account for Irish Stew which is not selling at all, but by the end, the stew is fit for dogs. When Darrin's mother decides to pay an unexpected visit, Samantha cleans up the house by using her magic, and Darrin catches her. This proves to be a sticky situation when she and Mother Stephens go out shopping together and Serena is called upon to babysit the children. Dr. Bombay cures her at first, but now when Samantha hiccups, any gold object that she's nearby to, disappears. Because Tabitha is worried over not being able to go to the next school grade, Endora casts a spell on her, making her a child prodigy at just about everything. Tabitha's teacher, Ms. Peabody, takes an interest in Tabitha's genius and stumbles upon the supernatural situations in the Stephens household during an unexpected visit. In order to teach Ms. Peabody a well-deserved lesson in snooping, Samantha comes up with a solution that solves everything. Maudie Prickett and Charles Lane guest star. The spell causes mortals who come near the pin to tell the absolute truth. This first causes trouble for Darrin at the office, and later at a dinner party for a client in the Stephens' home. Samantha catches on to her mother's shenanigans just in time to save the evening and the advertising account, and Darrin and Samantha profess their love for each other. Parley Baer and Sara Seegar guest star as the latest "McMann and Tate" client and spouse. Note: This episode is a remake of "Speak the Truth", telecast December 16, 1965. Blooper: Parley Baer and Sara Seegar are portrayed as "Walter and Cora May Franklin," but in the end credits are listed as "Ed and Frances Franklin." Filmed December 16, 1971, this was the last episode filmed, and the last broadcast first-run.
