CLASS XI & XII

Students of class XI and XII had a very hectic schedule in the month of July. Unit tests were held in the month end. Class XI had their first round of unit test while class XII had their second round.

NPS PRESENTS THE INNOWAVES COMMERCE FEST

Students of DPS Bangalore North recently participated the Innowaves Commerce Fest held by National Public School Indiranagar on 22nd July 2011. The fest was professionally managed by the students of class 11th and 12th. Many schools and PU colleges of Bangalore had participated in the fest. Some of the prominent schools were Army Public School, CMR NPS, NPS Kormangala, Christ College, Mount Carmel College, etc. The competition began with the ProdAct, in which a 5 member team from every school was given a product 3 days beforehand. The teams had to present their product with an advertisement, SWOT analysis and a marketing strategy. Our school secured first place in this event. Dire Straits was a crisis management event in which a major economic crisis was given to a team and the team had to come up with a solution to the problem. The next event was Rock and Rolla. In this the participants had to clear a written round about the market to get to the final round which involved stock trading. There was a Business Quiz in which the participants had to qualify the written round to jump on to the next level. It was a very well organized, innovative and a fun-filled fest where the Commerce students had a chance to practically experience what they are studying.
