HUNGARY
It was great - Like many people I did it thinking, I get to live in Europe! Oh, and I guess I have to do this teaching thing... Ill adjust to it somehow. But the teaching turned out to be the highlight! I was given freedom in my lessons to teach as I liked and as long as it was English and they were talking and writing it was good! The kids loved it and I had a great time that I wont soon forget. Adrian Thurnwald from Australia
SPAIN
It has been fantastic. Both living abroad and teaching in Spain have proven to be extremely rewarding. Definitely the best choice I could have made after graduating from college. What could be better than a year away to find myself? Peter Wickman from the USA
BOLIVIA
Beyond my imagination. You can imagine what it would be like to stand in front of a class and explain stuff. But its the small things that make the difference. The contact with the students, the odd questions you get (not just about the class), and the unfamiliar environment. Try getting a group of children to pay attention all at the same time, or have a class full of teenagers sharing chairs because there arent enough for them. Liesbeth Schaberg from the Netherlands
TANZANIA
I taught English in Tanzania. Its been 3 years and I still keep in touch with some Tanzanian teachers and volunteers. I loved everything, from crammed buses, holding little babies, kicking the soccer ball on the beach with locals, rowing up the crocodileinfested river to see other villages, to having to drink milk out of 30 different coconuts in one sitting to not disappoint anyone! Sarah McDonald from Australia

THAILAND
Once I completed my TEFL course with i-to-i, I travelled to Lopburi, Thailand on a paid teaching placement. I wouldn't have felt comfortable travelling alone to a new country and culture without the back up that I received from i-to-i. The staff made the whole experience so easy, advising me on everything from vaccines to visas, and knowing there was always someone available at the end of the phone in both Thailand and in the head offices was always reassuring. Shelly Whelan from Ireland
CHINA
I really loved the whole thing! I went as a gap year - ended up staying for three and didnt really want to come back! Anna Creed from the UK
JAPAN
I had a great time in Japan. My TEFL course gave me the skills I needed to be confident in the classroom. Since coming back to the UK I have continued to teach EFL and am now involved in running a language school - all thanks to i-to-i. Keep up the good work. Amanda Gillies from Scotland
SRI LANKA
I spent one month in Sri Lanka teaching English in a Preschool, in a girls home and to more mature students. It was an amazing experience. I left with new friends, fantastic memories and hundreds of stories to tell everyone back home. Stephanie Bell from the UK
