Training

The academic curriculum provides for 60 days of Practical/Industrial Training during summer vacation after VI semester. The Placement and Training Cell facilitates the practical training of students in Companies/Industries/Organizations of National and International repute. Some of the students also get Research Internship offers from Germany, Canada, UK, Singapore, South Korea, Finland etc. Students also go for research projects as summer interns in IITs, IISc, IIMs and CEERI Pilani Some of prominent organizations include NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, IOCL, BPCL, DRDO, C-DOT, ISRO, MARUTI, HERO HONDA & IT companies.

Placement Statistics 2010-11

In the academic session 2010-11, 104 organizations visited the institute for the recruitment of B.Tech. students and selected 444 students with total offers of 659 out of total 360 eligible candidates. In addition to this 45% of M.Tech./MBA/M.Sc. were selected. The maximum and average packages offered are 9.88 LPA and 4.44 LPA respectively.
