Team Lead and Supervisor responsible for implementing IBM Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest tools and corporate SCM processes for several development teams. Responsible for the design, implementation, and deployment a corporate-wide SCM process set to Jeppesen's IT department based upon CMM/CMMI. Responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of SCM Specialists to plan, track, and deliver their daily SCM activities and their SCM tool and process implementation tasks to their assigned development teams. Key Accomplishments: Lead an effort to evaluate and select a ClearCase branching and merging model for the corporation. Eventually, UCM was selected and is being implemented across the company. Creation of a team level work request tracking tool and process used to manage the large number of requests coming into the team for ClearCase and ClearQuest support. Implementation of a TWiki based content management system used to publish SCM Team documents to the corporation. Lead to effort to consolidate and synchronize the IBM Rational tool licenses for ClearCase and ClearQuest. Select Client Highlights Beckman Coulter, Inc., Miami FL Responsible for a project to extend and further automate a set of tools that provided a custom link between ClearCase, ClearQuest, and project specific build tools. These tools provided for integrated defect tracking, ClearQuest hooks to create and lock branches in ClearCase, automatic branch creation and management, build management, event logging and email notification, automatic config-spec and view creation, automatic IQ, OQ, and PQ toolset validation, automatic build, event, and label record creation in ClearQuest. Developed a web-based interface to allow for easy developer access to the SCM tools. Beckman Coulter, Inc., Chaska, MN Assisted in the initial installation and configuration of ClearCase and ClearQuest. Assisted in the design and development of the initial ClearQuest defect tracking system and change request workflow. Responsible for porting, installing, and configuring the custom SCM tools developed at Beckman Coulters Miami development center into the Chaska environment. Provided support for the conversion of an existing legacy CM system into ClearCase and ClearQuest.

Team Lead responsible for installing and implementing PVCS Version Manager for three different Windows/NT and five UNIX platforms. This work involved converting a large SCCS source code library to PVCS-VM then writing several shell scripts to make the existing build methods work with PVCS-VM without interrupting the development process. Implemented all new PVCS Configuration Builder scripts to build, manage, and release a three-tier, client server, multi platform product. The new PVCS-CB scripts allowed for the implementation of improved Configuration Management and Release Management processes. Also responsible for training the PVCS-VM and PVCS-CB users at IHS. Team Leader in a Makefile and Configuration Management rework project. This work entailed the conversion of PVCS makefiles into GNU makefiles. Customized the GNU make program to use new command line options. Also integrated and tested automatic dependency generation into the makefiles used in the nightly build process. Responsible for investigation and prototyping of a new development and CM environments. Attended the IBM CMVC for administrators class. Member of the Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) Business Unit. Responsible for the development of a Network Management Server, which was responsible for communicating over an OSI network stack using ASN.1 to transfer "base-station" configuration and usage statistics.

Instrumental in the design, development, and integration of software and processes in the build management system and the engineering development environment.
