Now when reinstalled in vehicle, low range mode is blinking on cluster and | cant manage to reprogram it via Launch scanner. Do | need a press Thanks For completeness thought I'd post the answer on here. Had to open the case, without the input shaft in the way much easier to remove the snap ring (got a heavy duty pair of snap ring pliers off amazon, still barely got the job done - thinking of redesigning snap ring pliers. Also bearing came apart so had to fish the balls out from inside the case). Knocked the bearing out from the inside, with a block of wood (though | think it would go the other way too). Pretty easy to knock the bearing back in, don't think a press is needed. Wasn't sure about what RTV to use so | just used "the right stuff’, figured RTV twice the price should be at least 10% better.
