BACKGROUND
•
• FOOD SECURITY IMPLEMENTATION AND
MANUTRITON REDUCTION PROGRAMME
(FSIMRP)
• VISION:
• Rural People get saved and become food self sustained through
agriculture programs.
• MISSION
• OBJECTIVES
• IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVES
• ACTIVITIES:
• The programme is involved in three major activities, these:
• TRAINING:
• The activity is carried out by the involved and concerned staff with
the heart to serve the poor. The program staff identifies the literate
rural farmers or church local leaders and equips them with basic
knowledge, in new farming systems, good health and how to come
out of their problems. The identified local leaders they later serve as
leading farmers. Since they are given special trainings, they
continue training their fellow community residences, and then staff
goes on with the extensive field visits and follow up trainings to the
community to ensure the idea is implemented and adopted
correctly. The role of the staff is to ensure the community
understands that it is not the staff in pain but the community hence
adopts the measures which rescue the community from pain.
• SUPPORT
• ADVOCACY
• The main partner in this item is the church who we work together, in
promoting self sustenance among the poor regardless of their
conditions.
• TARGET GROUPS
• The target groups are in two categories as follows.
• LESS PREVALEDGE
• In this group our main focus is not on every less privileged but only
those with the heart to do something. Those who are deeply
convicted that they can farm and are already growing crops but
they feel they are doing it in the wrong way and do not have
enough resource to go forward probably they need skills and also a
starting up empowerment on inputs. These can even practically be
identified that they are promoters of dependence; they only lack
support to start.

• REMARKS
• The rural community and their local churches are the owners of the
program and are highly recognized in the implementation of the
program.
