Download the file from internet directly to your phone. 2. Download the file from internet to a desktop/laptop computer, then install the calculator via the desktop/laptop computer. If you would like to download the file from internet directly to your phone, simply use the BlackBerry Browser on the phone and go the following link: www.lygea.com/bb10cse.htm then select your BlackBerry model from the list to start installation. By installing Pocket 10C SE Scientific Calculator for BlackBerry you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement included in the file EULA.txt that accompanies the software. If you would like to install the calculator from your desktop/laptop computer please follow the steps below. Here we are assuming you would like to install the calculator into a BlackBerry Bold 9700 Series. If you have a different model, read the document in the relevant subfolder. Subfolders are named according to the BlackBerry model that the calculator supports. 1. Connect the phone to your desktop/laptop computer. Then run the BlackBerry Desktop Manager on the desktop/laptop computer. 2. Select the Application Loader icon. 3. Click the Start button under Add / Remove Applications, then browse to the location of the unzipped files. Go to the subfolder For BlackBerry Bold-9700 Series. How to register the calculator The trial version of the calculator is fully functional for 7 days since installation. To use beyond this evaluation period you need to enter into the calculator a registration code which you will receive if you purchase the calculator. Note that you will be asked for your Device Id when purchasing the calculator and your registration code will be generated based on this Device Id. You can view your Device Id as follows. Select the Options or Settings icon from the homescreen, then select Status. Your Device Id is the PIN. You can also view your Device Id conveniently from the calculator's registration window. You can set the calculator to display figures at up to nine decimal places. The calculator supports fixed [FIX], scientific [SCI], and engineering [ENG] notation display format. In engineering notation, [f][ENG][n] will set the calculator to use n+1 significant digits to round the display.

TAN Calculates the Tangent of a number. Example: Find Tan(37o). 1. Press [f][DEG] 2. Key in 37 3. Press [TAN]. The answer is 0.7536.
