Notes:
1) Following the implementation of electronic record systems in the Supreme
Court of the State of Israel, procedures of the Office of the Clerk were entirely
overhauled.
2) The writer believed that such procedures were at the foundation of due process,
and should have been published.

RE: Zernik v State of Israel (6041/11) data listing of Events and data correction
Dear Attorney Ben-Tovim:
Thank you for your help, and I apologize again for bothering you with this case.
Review of data in this case and other, point out, presumably, that the current procedure in the
Supreme Court is to list each filing of a document as an Event.
To this date, three documents have been filed:
1.
On August 21, 2011 Appeal was filed.
2.
On August 21, 2011 Request for waiver of fees was filed under a separate face
page (following your explicit instructions)
3.
On August 31, 2011 Request for honest docketing was filed.
On the other hand, on the Events page under the above referenced case, only one event appears:
1.
On August 30, 2011 Document filed/filed document.
This situation is difficult to understand as part of consistent procedures for data entry in the
system. In addition, to this date, I have not found any written procedures in this matter.
Therefore, I would be grateful:
1. If you could clarify the data entry procedures regarding Events in the Supreme Court
today.
2. If you could affect correction of the data entry in this case, following procedures for data
entry correction, in case indeed the data entry was in error.
3. If you could provide, or refer me to the source of authorized written procedures for data
entry in the Supreme Court today.
My interest in this matter originates in my desire to ensure correct data entry in this case, and also
from my academic research interest in procedures of the Supreme Court relative to the electronic
records systems.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
