Registration Open House Please join us on August 27 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM for our Fall Open House! It is a great time to come in and meet the instructors, tour the studio, and discuss class placement. There will be dance demonstrations and light refreshments. Classes begin September 12, 2011 and will run in 6 week sessions. Session I: September 12 thru October 23 (Tuition Due Sept 5) Session II: October 24 thru December 4 (Tuition Due Oct 17) Session III: December 5 thru January 29 (Tuition Due Nov 28) Session IV: January 30 thru March 11 (Tuition Due Jan 23) Session V: March 12 thru April 29 (Tuition Due March 5) Session VI: April 30 thru June 8 (Tuition Due April 23) Recital June 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM Hannah Community Center Studio Scheduled Closing Thanksgiving Break November 24,25,26, and 27 Holiday December 19 thru Jan 1 Spring Break follows the Haslett School Schedule (Tentative April 2 thru 8) Tuition Classes are 60 minutes in length unless otherwise noted. Tuition is $72.00 per class. I offer a multi class discount per student. Please ask for details! Tuition is due one week before each new session begins. A late fee will be applied if tuition is delinquent. There is a $35.00 returned check fee. Recital and costumes fees will be discussed in the first newsletter due out in early fall. No refunds for missed classes. Classes can be made up during the same session by visiting a similar class with Director approval. Drop in fees are $20.00 each class session attended. Punch cards for adult fitness classes are not transferrable and cannot be shared. Attire Bottoms Up in Okemos can assist with dancewear selections, tights, and shoes! Important: Hair must be pulled back and secured off the face in a ballet bun for all classes. Appropriate shoes are required before participating in class. No gum. Ballet: Pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Leotard can be any color. Other disciplines: Black Jazz pants or shorts with any color leotard. Black jazz or tap shoes. Dance Paws are only allowed with instructor approval. No bare feet. Partnering: Leotard and tights or jazz pants and a leotard. Ballet or soft jazz shoes. Getting Personal with Chagill Art in Space - Creating Sculpture Calder-Style Art of the Dark Ages Paintings of the Day Focus on the Figure

Drama Study - Shakespeare Plain Spoken

Students will study several of William Shakespeares works and break them down into todays language and style. Students will perform excerpts from several pieces throughout the year and will learn how to incorporate costuming, sets, and stage movement as they prepare for two performances during our studio year. Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30.

Wedding and Special Event Dances

Are you looking for a way to make your special day or event even more special? From beginners on up we offer classes that will help you learn a special dance that is created and choreographed just for you. You can bring your own music or we can help you select a piece that expresses your individuality and the message you wish to convey. Couples and groups are more than welcome! We have been honored to participate in many weddings and events and we look forward to working with you! Please call the studio to discuss scheduling and rates.

Birthday Parties
The studio offers many options to help celebrate those special days in your life! Children and adults alike can schedule a party package or we can help you create a custom package based on your individual interests. We have Tap Danced in the big 5-0 with a group of friends and made a Princess Dream a reality complete with Tiaras and a Masked Ball. The studio can provide an hour of dance instruction and help with set up and clean up. You provide the guests and the cake! Please call the studio to discuss ideas and rates.

Pom Dance
Class will meet from 5-6PM on Thursdays. Students will have fun learning proper pom techniques and dance movements built around a foundation of teamwork and precision. The students will get a chance to show off their skills at a local competition - the exact date TBA. This class will have a Uniform fee and will be discussed at a parent meeting in the fall.

Please note that classes must have 4 students to be held. Private classes will be scheduled one-on-one and are $25.00 an hour.
